Very Informative. Enjoyed the History.It’s on a Military Base so if you have a Military ID, it’s easier to get into.

I took my brother to our surprise when we entered the Quadangle , there was a koi pond.And free roaming peacock and geese. We are both veterans so we went inside the museumTo see the old equipment we use to repair and drive, on the way out we ran into roaming deer.A very nice place to visit.and it’s free for now

Very nice historic place in the heart of San Antonio. Geronimo and his followers were held there for a while, while his fate was decided and he was eventually sent to federal prison in Florida. There are deer and peacocks walking around. Maybe one day I'll meet LTG Laura Richardson. She's a legend in the Army. That Quad...

From Fort Sam Houston Quadrangle and Museum
A working U.S. Army Headquarters AND tourist attraction since 1876, and home to the Fort Sam Houston Museum.
Admission is free but non-DOD ID cardholders age 18+ must get a pass at the Visitors Center, 892 Hood St, beside the N. Walters Street gate. Check out "By Owner" photos for a map. When asked your purpose, answer "Visit the Quadrangle and Museum."
Animal & bird food is available in the Fort Sam Houston Museum.
