I was in a bad spot stuck in texas trying to pick up my daughter and get her back to Florida with some of her belongings. Jordan helped me out tremendously, got me a great price on a big enough vehicle for what I needed to do with all the extras I needed and he let me hang out while I figured everything out with all the parties involved in the situation THANK YOU AGAIN JORDAN! I dropped of the durango at the local store and they where confused and asked me where it came from when I said TEXAS his eyes got big!

Loved their service! I was in a rush to return the car and the guy there helped me very promptly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend everyone to consider them when renting a car.

Jordan at this location is SO helpful!!!! After running into some issues from a different location Jordan immediately began to do all he could to help us out. His customer service and willingness to truly help is above and beyond. Wish I could give them 10 stars

Update:As shown in this review I was contacted by Avis customer support via their Social Media team. I provided additional info as requested and received a generic response back which did not address the concerns raised in this review or the further comments I provided via email.I have reduced my review by a star as it is clear the outreach by the Avis Social Media team is simply for show and nothing will be done about the issues at this Avis facility.***********************Probably one of the strangest rental experiences I've ever had. . Had a noon pickup scheduled and when I arrived at the location there was nobody around. Doors were unlocked but nobody to be found. Called out several times, wandered around, not a person in the place. Sat and waited and after about 10 minutes two employees and what was apparently a customer come in via the back door. Told someone would be with me shortly and the two employees proceed to get the other customer a rental (one of the employees seemed to be a trainee). Finally it's my turn, I'm an Avis Preferred member so everything should be in the computer but we do the dance anyway. As the employee is handing me the keys he states, "be sure to bring it back clean". My response was, what exactly do you mean by "clean"? No response from employee. I ask again, what do you mean by clean? This time he answers, you know "clean" no mud, dirt, etc. on the car or inside. I was a bit confused as I've never had this conversation when renting a car before. The employee didn't want to check the car prior to rental, only telling me to "take a video with your phone", which I did. Drove the car for 5 days through 3 states and given it was a summer drive the front end was covered in dead bugs. Did a very brief clean (I wasn't going to drive a rental through a car wash) at home and then took the car back as scheduled. Upon dropping off was again asked is it clean? My response was, it's been driven nearly 1800 miles in 4 days, it shows normal wear and tear from driving that many miles. Response from the employee was "Ok" and I was on my way. Again no check of the vehicle on check in.This location seems to have an obsession with getting cars back clean and ready to rent without any additional work. I'm not sure if it is laziness on the employees part or some strange management directive, but either way it is not normal for a rental agency. I'll certainly rent from Avis again, just not this location.

Absolute worst customer service EVER! Had a reservation to pick car up at noon. Showed up at noon and doors are locked. Guy comes out and tells us sorry we are closed. I told him I had a reservation and he just stated “we are closed” and walked off. Was rude. I asking why they have a reservation pick up at noon if they close at noon. He just replied again that they are closedNEVER NEVER NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE.

I wish I could post a video on here showing how Avis employees drive the rental cars through parking lot like it’s a race track over and over again, racing each other. People every where and they just don’t care.

I originally reserved a vehicle for 3 days, because my vehicle was in the shop; however, it was finished much earlier than anticipated, so I returned the vehicle earlier (after one day). When I received by final bill of $179 I immediately called CS to ask why I was charged for the entire reservation cost instead of what I actually used it for which was a day. The CS agent very RUDELY and UNPROFESSIONALLY stated that it was in the policy and ai should have read it! After a repeated interruption of my talking, I explained to him that if that were the policy, at least that is information that should be verbally disclosed to the customer at the time of rental that in the event I did not keep the vehicle the entirety of the reservation, that I would still be charged (responsible) for the entire cost! I have rented vehicles from several companies and Enterprise for instance, would only charge for the time used plus any additional fees that may have occurred during the time of rental. NEVER ONCE have I ever been charged for the entire reservation period when I didn’t have the vehicle for the duration! I will tell EVERYONE I know to NEVER use AVIS/BUDGET for their rental needs!!!!!

I recently rented a car, without a reservation, and it was the best service from Paul and the new worker in trainer, Gigi! They went beyond my expectations! When Paul ran into an issue, he quickly called his manager, Jordan , who helped to resolve the issue. Please, if you need a rental, see Paul, Gigi and Jordan ! I will definitely be back, not because it is the closest location, but because of the excellent customer service ! Thanks so much!

Let me start by saying that Avis is my favorite rental car choice and I have rented at least 60 times from them. That said…I will never even try to use this Hulen location again. I reserved my car a few weeks ago. Showed up today to pick it up and they had only one car to choose from (so no choice). The worker was very flippant and rude as if she could care less about the customers. She asked for my ID and credit card even though I am a preferred member and am in the Avis system. She printed out the rental agreement and told me I had to initial several places before she would even let me see the car. Got out to the car and you couldn’t even open the driver’s door without shaking it a few times. Her response was “Yeah, it’s been like that for a while.”. I told her that was a safety issue and I wasn’t going to accept that car. She charged my card the minimum rental charge of one day even though I never accepted it, never got into it, and never drove it. She also told me she couldn’t take the $340 hold off of my credit card. I ended up having to drive 35 miles away to the airport location to get a car. They were great at the airport location and the Avis Customer Service team was able to refund my $34 charge and release the $340 hold. The manager at the Hurst location didn’t even try to help. No cars, terrible service, and improperly charging my card. Rent from here at your own peril. That employee at the Hulen location should be fired. She was equally unhelpful to two more customers while I was in there.

I specifically chose this location. I rented an SUV. BUT...I got a car!! It stank and reeked of weed!!! The individual said he did not order my vehicle because he thought his return would come in! Ugh!!! So I had to drive to the airport to swap out my vehicle!!! Well, if I had known that I would have just borrowed my sister's SUV!!! I was not interested in going to the airport. I had to WAIT..WAIT..WAIT..over an hour to get the vehicle. I chose AVIS because of my previous experience with them.... time is money!!! Because it took so long to get the vehicle I "RESERVED", it delayed my trip for a day! Which AVIS owes me $343 for my day. The people were nice, but you failed to plan properly. All you had to do was order my vehicle!!

Truly great experience. Went out of his way to communicate and let me know what I needed to do to remedy any issues. Prompt with returning calls. Spent time leaving a detailed voicemail for solutions to possible situations when he noticed I called but didn't leave a message. Clearly the entire focus was to make my experience as enjoyable as possible without any thought of how it might inconvenience him. Just plain old fashioned costumer service.
