“Great and thoughtful selection of books for adults and children and for gifts. I found an illustrated book about Opal Lee's life and Juneteenth and a signed copy of her recent autobio!❤ There are lots of small events held here so it is also a social center. They have a newsletter with local activities.”
“This is a charming, independent bookstore with a great selection, including things you might not see elsewhere. Like independent press books and local authors. The collage workshop was a lot of fun and the people were friendly and welcoming.”
“Excellent content, especially large selection of all types of cook books. They all the test kitchen series which you are able to browse. I purchased the chicken bible and I love it.”

“As a prospective student, I was profoundly impressed by Texas Wesleyan University's welcoming atmosphere and courteous staff. From the moment I arrived on campus, I felt a deep sense of belonging, as every individual I encountered greeted me with warmth and kindness especially the admissions office. And It became abundantly clear that this institution would provide an ideal environment for my academic and professional growth.Throughout my visit, the university's commitment to fostering a supportive community was evident at every turn. The genuine care and dedication of the staff left a lasting impression on me, solidifying my belief in their unwavering support for student success. My experience at Texas Wesleyan University was unequivocally positive, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to any student seeking a close-knit and nurturing academic environment.”
“Refreshingly friendly and helpful staff!! I found everything I needed to find. It's a well kept campus and a peaceful environment.I think I'm gonna LOVE it here!”
“Well organized and a huge selection of puzzles and books. Staff was friendly. I wouldn't recommend selling puzzles back to them. I bought 4 puzzles from here, used for around 47 dollars, and they gave me 4.38 $ when I sold them back to the store. Sorry but that seems a little to low to me. So although I will b shopping here I wont be selling anything back to them from now on.”
“Half Price books always lives up to his name, was able to round out a collection by an author I enjoy for a third of what they would have cost me new! Friendly staff too in every location I have been in!”

“Can't say enough about this store. Textbook manager is AWESOME and so helpful. I went in to sell back a book this past week and when he scanned it it came up as no value. He said "hold on...that doesn't seem right". He checked something in his system and discovered that an instructor had just turned in an order for the book I had for the Fall term and he (the manager) hadn't had a chance to work on it yet. He quickly worked on it and my book went from no value to $35 - I originally paid $70 for it so I got half back! I feel like other stores wouldn't have done this, they would have just said oh well, no value, sorry.”
