Went in on Tuesday, Jan. 2nd 2023, to pick up the truck my husband started it and the engine light came on. My husband went inside and to let the rep know about it. He said it was fine and that they were aware of it. The rep was not interested about hearing it.An hour into our drive the next day the tire light came on. We pulled over and we didn’t see anything (we left it as just being the tire sensor) after it turned off.The truck was filthy! Coffee spilled all over the seats, doors floor boards and console, dog hair, dog food all over the truck. Luckily I always carry Clorox wipes and cleaned up the console, the seats, the steering wheel and the cup holders.We have always used U-Haul and Penske and have never had an issue, we wanted to give Budget a try but that’ll be a hard pass for us.

Bad experience - Engine light came on in the truck when I left the lot. I took it back and they didn't have a truck to replace it (there were now 5 broken trucks in their lot). They wouldn't help me find another truck at another Budget location, I was told I had to call Customer Service. Customer service (after waiting...) told me I had to call road side assistance first before they would try to find me a truck. Road side assistance (after waiting) said someone had to come physically look at the truck to determine if I needed a different truck. I decided to cancel, which was also an ordeal. I wanted to ensure they released the $195 hold on my card. I was told I had to call customer service again (there was even more drama, but no need to go on...) I ended up having to cancel my move and lost money on movers.

Terrible experience. Don’t do it. Made a “reservation” for 16’ truck with a ramp(I specifically needed the ramp) and it was the only one available for my time in the area. I get there at 9am for my 9am reservation and they had rented the truck k out to someone else. I asked the guy how that happened and he said because budget is greedy.. what.. I then had to get a 12’ truck but was charged for the 16’ truck. The guy said I had to talk to customer service to get refunded the difference which was ~20. I did that and customer service said they couldn’t because the price for 12 and 16 were the same. (Which they weren’t at time of reservation). So all in all I got screwed. Had to rent a uhaul trailer to finish the job. wasted money and more importantly wasted hours dealing with it. Thanks budget!

Service at this location is awful. Very rude, disorganized and incompetent. We’ve moved countless times with budget, including across state lines, before and have never been so displeased the way we have been this time around. Choose a different company or location, if you decide to use budget.

This location was a hot mess. We booked a moving truck approximately 2 months before the day we arrived to pick it up. We were at the rental counter for over an hour. By the time we left with our truck there were 4 other people there trying to pick up their trucks/cars. When we walked back to the employee area with the employee to go get the truck there was a guy just sitting the managers office sleeping. If the lobby was that full and we had to wait for over an hour, the manager/owner should have been helping. The first truck they tried to put us in didn't have functioning windshield wipers and the one we ended up with appeared to be fine, but once we got it on the highway turns out it didn't shift right. So we had to drive 9 hours in a truck that you had to gun it and hope to goodness it would finally shift. The inside of the truck was disgusting. We returned it cleaner than it was given to us because we were afraid we would end up being charged a cleaning fee for returning it exactly as we were given it. It was lesson learned with budget, who we booked exclusively because they were the cheapest. For the second half of our move I forked over a little bit of extra money and booked a uhaul. Much better experience.

We got there at 245 and tried to get insurance stuff situated to sign the paper for a truck rental . We were told they couldn’t help us at 3 which is the time they closed . So we had to leave and find another truck rental because we were basically booted at 3 . extra fees they were charging us couldn’t be explained to us . All around bad service . I don’t recommend renting from here at all !

Ok experience with Budget rentals. It's an easy process online, but the shop did not make the process easy to rent. Cheap, but not the best experience.

we actually thought we were going to have a bad experience because we reserved a 12-foot truck, and when we arrived they said that they didn't have any. However they made it a lot better by giving us a Toyota Tundra four-door pickup for the same price! We love this truck, and we're having a hard time giving it back! The guy behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful, and was the one who got us into the truck that we needed! Great job budget, thanks for making our lives a little bit easier!

Completely incompetent or shady location. Take your pick. I have rented from Budget truck and car several times and have had a great experience but this place does not come at all close to the standards. I rented a truck for 1 day (24 hours) from April 4 at 11:44am to April 5. I was done with the truck the evening of April 4 so I turned it in April 4 at 9:00pm and left the paper work and key in the drop box. I noticed on my credit card statement that I was charged much higher than what was estimated. So I called them and the person who picked up put me on hold forever. I instead called the 1-800 number. He said that they processed the return on April 6th at 7:30am therefore I was charged an extra day. Or they were too lazy to process the return till the next day. Or they checked the drop box and didn't process it till the next day and were too d*** to put the correct drop off time in. This place seems to be so incompetent that they did not check the drop box the morning of April 5th. They did not bother to take the initiative to notice that a truck was past due and remember to check the drop box or at least scan the parking lot to look for the truck. How can a place like budget allow this kind of negligence? The Budget represenative in customer service called the rental location and could not get anyone to answer and it was during business hours. You all should be ashamed to hire idiots like this.

Budget trucks statistically kills more people per year than any other truck rental agency. This is all due to negligence of territory managers and store managers. They knowingly rent trucks that have been deemed unsafe. Mothers fathers and children have been killed due to their negligence. DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET IF YOU WANT TO TRAVEL SAFE AND FURTHERMORE MAKE IT TO YOUR DESTINATION ALIVE
