Carniceria La Altena is a very good grocery store and carniceria that keeps the immediate area from being a food desert. It offers fresh meat, milk, eggs, and produce, including really good chorizo, awesome big avocados, and excellent roast beef. The store has savory and delicious daily specials, with fabulous and affordable chicken enchiladas on Thursday. The prices are right. While not in the best area, the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a place that impresses, plain and simple, and is 100% recommended.

this little grocery store keeps this immediate area from being a food desert. i was able to get fresh milk, eggs, produce, really good chorizo. the avocados are awesome, big avocados ready to make awesome guacamole. the prices are right
