REVIEW ON PORTRAIT STUDIO ONLY. We arrived on time for our appointment at 7 pm. There was a couple in front of us that was still being seen at 7, so we didnt get started until 7:45. She apologized and advised that she would get to us in a bit. We were totally okay with that, not thinking it would 50 minutes later. The store closes at 9. There was only one portrait associate, and she was completely new, with no guidance because her supervisor was on vacation and she wasn't trained on all the equipment (this is exactly what she told us right before she started taking our pictures). We had to change a few poses because she didn't know how to work the additional lights needed to do the shadowing effect. It was a maternity shoot, and I wore a flowy dress, so there were a few pictures in the package where my undergarments were showing (unbeknownst to me), and she did not advise me to adjust or anything. She even asked if she could adjust my hair, jewelry or anything at the beginning of the shoot and I told her absolutely, do whatever you need to do bc she's my eyes right now! We will now have to pay someone to edit and revise as needed, which is another expense. We had no time to review the pictures or what packages we wanted bc the store was literally closed and we hadn't even sat down to look at our options yet. She literally had to page the employees overhead at the front of the store and let them know that there were two customers still being helped in the portrait studio. If we had the time to review, we would've seen the edits that needed to be made and would've discussed them with her then. We were also told that we couldn't come at another time to review the packages and had to make a decision that night or we would lose everything, even though we were not late to our appointment and the lack of time was a JCP error. The family before us had the option to review their pictures for 45 minutes and weren't even given 5 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. The associate was sweet, but everything was completely unorganized. I blame it on the lack of staff available. Why tell people to be on time and schedule an appointment if it won't be honored? Why do the customers who pay have to be shorthanded due to lack of resources on JC Penny's end? We were going to do our newborn pictures here and decided that we will NOT be returning to pay for any portrait services due to this experience. This is the first and last time JCP will receive our money. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Fitting rooms are closed, returns only at the back which is such an inconvenience. Rude employees. Will never go back.

I had my roots touched up in the salon by Jeric and he did an AWESOME JOB!! H was so nice and friendly and professional. I'll definitely be back!

Had my hair done today with Jric and he was wonderful. Great personality and friendly. Love how he did my hair it looks beautiful. I will definitely come back to have Jric do my hair again

We stopped in here while Christmas shopping and was pleasantly surprised. Our regular JCPenney in Denton had gone down so much so that we weren't sure if we should even stop here, but ended up glad we did. They had a nice selection of perfumes, colognes, baby clothes, throws, trinkets, ladies and men's clothing. The store was clean. The associates were nice and helpful. We've finally found a new JCPenney's to shop at.

I will never get photos here again. Been going here for years. New people managing. Got here 15 min early told we only had 2 families ahead of me. They took people that got in after us to by up to 30 minutes after us. They only wanted to serve us our designated time after I walked out and told them I'm never coming back. Where are the people that work there normally? This is how they treat their military families? I even asked the lady at the desk why everyone was going before us and she said "I don't know. I'm a trainee". My baby is only good for a short time. Hence why I made an appointment!! Don't over book then expect people to be ok with waiting over an hour past the scheduled time. Then be told it'll be 10 more minutes after you tell them they let 2 families go when they came in 30 minutes after we did. I tell the lady they came in 30 minutes after us, and she said, "Oh really?" Yea. How you not know? 5 yrs of solid service ruined by these people.

I was reminded why I prefer to shop online. I went into the jewelry area shopping for my wife and it seemed like I was bothering the ladies cleaning their counters. It's sad because there was hardly anybody shopping, now I know why.

Ordered an item for curbside pickup. Received email notification that my order was ready. I came to JCP and parked in a pick up parking spot. Referred to JCP app to check in and found that this store didn't provide curbside pickup at this time - please come inside. I came inside to be told " pickup is back there somewhere... (vaguely points to back of store) I head back there but stop at jewelry counter (since my orderi tem is earrings) Jewelry counter person takes over and after a few calls and 1 incorrect package my package is located and all is well with my order.Thank You

I spent about 30 minutes in the Pennys at Alliance today and selected a robe that was marked $14.99 clearance, with a price tag. When checking out it rang up as $45. The cashier went back to check the robes and talked to an asst manager that said it was priced wrong and I could not have that price. My trust in their pricing has gone to "0". After spending my time how am I to know if they are price right or not. Obviously I did not buy it and I will never go back and tell as many people as I can.

Had a horrible experience with customer service today. I tried to return a pair of Levi’s jeans I purchased the day before. The jeans had a small hole in the fabric. I had my receipt as well as tags. The employee as well as the managers on duty refused to return the jeans and proceeded to imply that I had owned the jeans longer than the receipt indicated or that I had improperly washed the jeans. After refusing the exchange the manager even suggested I find someone to give them away too. Luckily I was able to exchange the jeans at the JCPenney at Northeast Mall. Rest assure we will never shop there again.
