You should exercise caution before doing business with this company. If you get behind, you have to pay the full amount due to get caught up. You can't do a payment and half one month, and again next month to get caught up. It's all or nothing. They will in fact, mail your payment back to you if it's less than what's due. Learned the hard way years ago, and have regretted doing business with them ever since. You've been warned.

This lender was challenging to work with as a local real estate agent. This bank did not meet the buyer's contract closing date or clearly explain the delay. This leads to the primary concern of the loan officer not being able to communicate or return calls or emails. Texas Bank may cater to a particular loan program to serve a niche market; however, there is an opportunity to improve professionalism and communication with all parties within a real estate transaction.

This bank overcharges whenever they want to the bill becoming $1000. They always charge 40 or $60 extra just because they want to they been to in the past because of this they say that the payments are not done when they are when people go actually to the bank itself and actually make the payment, and they don’t even know what else to say, when they this is very unprofessional at the bank to have people working like that and be in their customers

I reached out to Carlos Vasquez at the beginning of August for a refinance and he has still not finalized my loan. Sporadic communication is an understatement. I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt but I've had enough of his unprofessional attitude. He will be the reason why I will take my business elsewhere.

Unfortunately I had the worst experience with this company, with Rep Name CARMEN LUPERCIO I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO WITH HER! It took her 3 months to do literally nothing & No communication involve!

We've worked with Texas Bank Mortgage for several years. They helped us refinance our home for a large remodel and recently to lower our interest rate. Both times they have been fantastic! They really listened to our needs, answered all of our questions and were very professional. The closing was seamless and simple. We recommended Texas Bank Mortgage to our daughter, a first-time homebuyer. Ranessa did an excellent job communicating with her and providing timely documents even on a Sunday evening. This dedication allowed our daughter to submit a last minute offer. She closed on time with no surprises. I highly recommend.

Nathan McDaniel is the best at what he does hands down. He and his team made my home buying process seamless. He will always have my business for every transaction I do from this day forward. If you need anything from this bank deal with ask for Nathan McDaniel. You won't be disappointed. Thanks again to Nathan and his team for helping me throughout this home buying experience. You've made it a memorable one!!! JB

I seen a lot of complains about this bank, but my experience with them specially with our loan Carmen officer Lupercio was excellent... She helped more that we ask for on our mortgage loan, we close our home 6 weeks ago and they treated us very well... So I will make business with this people again.

I would like to start off by saying STAY AWAY, take your business else where cause they should not be able to do business with anyone! Last year we spoke with Carmen Lupercio about getting a loan she told us to work on our credit some more and to come back once it was at a certain score. So, my boyfriend went back and she Pre-Approved him right away and said we were good to go on looking for a house. So, we found one! And gave her the amendment she said she could close us out on the 26th! From May 22nd she had his file mind you from may to June she was HORRIBLE at communicating she would go up to 3 days without replying! Our contingency date was June 19th and on June 16th she said we were good and she would get us closed! If you put earnest money down after your contingency date passes, if you have to back out the deal you do not get that money back the sellers keep it! So June 24th comes around she’s not answering so we go to her office and she tells us she can’t close us on the 26th so she switched it to July 8th! So she kept asking us for the same paper work over and over like if she wasn’t keeping up with everything. Getting close to July 8th is when stuff started getting more horrible she would straight up ignore all of our calls and text messages even my realtors. The sellers agent would call her for an update and she would blame it on us that we weren’t turning paper work in basically lying to save her butt to ACT like she was doing her job! Here comes July 6th she’s NOT ANSWERING once again! We had to go up there when we asked her what’s going on what’s the hold up her words were I DONT KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU, I JUST DONT KNOW but I’m working on it! how can you not have answers to what is going on!! And she changed our closing date AGAIN TO THE 14th! Mind you she’s barely gave the UNDERWRITER the file after the 8th when she should have giving it to the UNDERWRITER since JUNE!! So to end it she basically denied us at the end she still hasn’t reached out to us till this day to tell us the news! she relayed the message to our realtor but hasn’t reached out to us about anything! I UNDERSTAND People get denied all the time but the fact that she strung us along for almost 60 days giving us false hope!! She should’ve told us in June before our contingency date that she wasn’t able to approve us and we could have gotten our $1700 in earnest money back! But now we lost the house we wanted and our money! Because CARMEN LUPERCIO CANT DO HER JOB CORRECTLY!! And LISA Lockwood could care less about what you’re going through she’s the supervisor of the loan officers. I talked to her once after that she ignored my messages and calls and hasn’t even tried to call us to help us out! This WHOLE COMPANY IS HORRIBLE!!!!! It was a complete nightmare ! Stay away from them! They do not care about your situation or what you’re going through cause of THEIR MISTAKES! AND I WANT A MEETING WITH WHOSEVER IN CHARGED OF THE COMPANY!!

Me and my husband had a really bad experience refinancing with Employee named Carmen lupercio. Anyone wanting to refinance do not I repeat do no work with her. Save your self a lot of time and try to work with someone else. She had me and my husband waiting almost 6 months to refinance and giving us false dates of closing just to end up saying last Minute she could not approve us. Since February she’s had us waiting and waiting. Worst customer service ever!! I do not know why she is even working at a bank and especially working in refinancing when she can not pick her phone up to answer a few questions people might have. Please do not work with her she made my husband cancel our mortgage payment twice and the second time it went over 30 days and it affected my husbands credit. I am trying to do this in a nicely manner but she really got under my skin and just played with us since February. I understood for a while because of the pandemic. But now with everything she did, she is the worst at working with people. Also by reading most reviews it is best to just work with another bank

Definitely would not recommend this place. These people will tell you one thing and then change it up. They will not give you any option to try to assist during these hard times besides hiking up that monthly mortgage payment. Greed at it's best!!!!

Do not I repeat do don’t use this Mortgage company! Texas Bank is horrible they cost me thousands to refinance, not to mention the time wasted and headache dealing with them. Amanda Conrade doesn’t have a clue what she’s doing and her so called manager Lisa Lockwood is rude and just as unprofessional do yourself a favor if you’re doing a construction loan or refinancing a home stay clear of this mortgage company, they kept my file in underwriting for months for no apparent reason, and after months of doing business with this bank and dealing with their incompetent staff I was treated like trash and lied to about my loan options with threats of taking my home and being homeless, don’t believe anything this Bank tells you and use someone else, please heed my warning.

I have done several mortgages with Texas Bank Mortgage. Amanda Conrad is hands-down the most knowledgeable person there. If you're looking for the best mortgage fit for you, you need to give her a call. She has a TON of loan program options that I had never even heard of before. Cant go wrong!
