Inn on Barons Creek is a great hotel in Fredericksburg with a prime location. It is well located, only two blocks from downtown and all the shops, placing everything within walking distance. The hotel is right next to Barons Creek, offering a lovely view of the creek from its beautiful outdoor spot. This backyard area is the best, with tables and chairs scattered creekside under the trees, a nice pool, a hot tub, and comfy loungers. The rooms are nice, very clean, and big, with comfy beds. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast that is the best, with lots of options and very good food, including famous Texas-shaped waffles. The staff is very nice, friendly, and very helpful. The property also has a spa right next door that offers a discount to guests. While the outside grounds along the creek are very enjoyable, some note the rooms are about time for a refresh and one mentioned an old smell. Overall, it is a perfect lodging option and a great place to stay, with rates that are not exorbitant. Many guests state they will not stay anywhere else when visiting Fredericksburg.
The hotel is well located, walking-distance to the Main Street and comercial zone of town. It is clean, with a beautiful outdoor spot, good breakfast with many choices, and great people. The room was big, but as it has a rug, I believe, it smells old.

Loved the hotel. Rooms were great and service as well. Breakfast was the best and not your normal dried up eggs. Lots of options and very good. I would highly recommend this place.

Each time we visit Fredericksburg, we love coming back to the Inn on Barons Creek. The helpful staff and fantastic location near main street are why we keep coming back.
