“Fantastic cabins we've always enjoyed over the last 5 years visiting Fredericksburg and staying with cotton gin! The baskets of breakfast are fantastic. If you stay with them I hope you get the sticky buns!!!
Update: 9 years later still loving Cotton Gin Village!!”

“My girlfriend Amanda and I stayed at the Peachtree Inn & Suites while visiting Fredericksburg for a wine tour with my friend’s company, Cellar Rats, and it was an excellent choice.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very affordable—exactly what you want for a weekend getaway. The location couldn’t be better; it’s just a quick walk to the main street, so we never had to worry about parking or driving around town.
One unexpected highlight was the cats on the property. Amanda absolutely adored them—especially one exceptionally chubby cat that she couldn’t stop taking pictures of. It gave the place a fun, homey feel you don’t find at most hotels.
We’d definitely stay here again. Between the great price, ideal location, and friendly atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot for a Fredericksburg trip.”

“The Kusenberger Log Cabin at Settlers Crossing if a very unique home and worthy of a visit. It is an original homestead dog-run style building, remodeled with a bathroom closing up the center of the early build. Many of the primitive elements have been maintained and are very interesting. We did enjoy our stay but wished that there had been mention of the low doorway and beams clearance we would encounter. The write-up also mentioned a fireplace and loft, neither of which should be considered anything more than decorative.
The property is corporate managed, with what appears to be required linens. Although the towels were nice and fluffy, the white-on-white bed linens and duvet seemed esthetically out of place. The sheets were a synthetic blend and slept hot. The shower curtain and liner should be shortened to improve their appearance and liner cleanliness. Overall, the cabin was clean, but a final make-ready person for the day of check-in did not appear to have been utilized as there was much bug debris in the tub and sink.
The 35-acre property was very peaceful with sheep and deer roaming freely. There was also a donkey. Maintaining these many acres and eight homes must be very difficult; I'm hoping that a grounds keeping/maintenance crew has been scheduled to address some items that will keep this treasure enjoyable for decades to come.”
“The hotel is well located, walking-distance to the Main Street and comercial zone of town. It is clean, with a beautiful outdoor spot, good breakfast with many choices, and great people. The room was big, but as it has a rug, I believe, it smells old.”
“This cottage is literally in a backyard, so we were apprehensive. However, this place is PRECIOUS! Amber has created a space that is very private, cozy, and quiet! We loved it and cannot wait to return!! Highly recommend!!”
“I’m a hard grader, and I give Emigrants Inn 5 stars. Check in was seamless & courteous. Our Room in the historic mansion beautifully appointed with antiques, hardwood floors, coffee, small fridge, and a luxury bathroom that was almost as big as the bedroom itself. We enjoyed the jetted tub, open concept shower, robes, and high end soaps/lotions.
The king size antique bed with exquisitely carved headboard was very comfortable. And, despite being on a busy street, we slept well with the in-room earplugs and eye mask provided in a lovely gift bag. There was Even a lovely little tray to set our jewelry for the night. Thank you for the small details!
Just one improvement request: please add either a grab bar or rubber mat in the shower, as the tiles get quite slippery.
Enjoyed our relaxing high-end stay. We look forward to coming back.”

“Comfortable stay…
We stayed at this place while visiting Enchanted Rock State Natural Area. Private parking was available on-site. Our room was spacious, neat and clean with good decor. The owner is very polite and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would heartily suggest this place and hope to return there in the future.”
“So far so good the place was easy to find very close to a lot of places. they messaged you the entry code to your little studio place right on time. Place we stayed at was very quaint and has had towels, paper towels dishes even coffee for and creamer. I was worried about the AC sense I've read other complaints but it works just fine. Maybe because when we visited it wasn't 115. Just high 80s so keep that in mind”

“Amazing stay for our summer family reunion. Conference area and grounds well suited our needs. Breakfast was so good! Great pool. All staff were so pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend.”
“Nice place! Bed was sooooooo comfy. Remember you are in a wild life location, so yes, bugs, spiders and so on, so take what you need.
I loved it”
“Went out for a last minute girls trip. Hotel staff were incredibly sweet and accommodating to all our requests. Not far at all from the main street and a 4 minute walk from a food truck picnic area. The breakfast was okay but we weren't there for that. I felt incredibly safe in the area.”
“We stayed this Easter weekend. Arrived and was greeted by a very friendly pair of employees. They verified stay and offered lots of information. It is an older inn, but clean and has a heated pool and hot tub. Close enough to the main strip to walk each time and far enough to feel away from the crowds. Would definitely stay again.”

“This is a solid four-star hotel. The location is fantastic. The price is on point.
The rooms are dated and nothing super special or fancy but they are just right. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The rooms are clean. There are no bugs. The bath towels are very nice.
We've stayed here twice and been pleasantly surprised both times.”

“We rented one of the cottages out of town, so peaceful & quiet. Loved the rustic cabins with the longhorn furniture. Absolutely a wonderful place to decompress”
“Convenient to just walk out onto Main St. Clean room, recently remodeled. Got a welcome text after reserving, another in case I needed anything after check in. Breakfast served, nice. Extremely nice people and a very easy process.”
“Tara at the front desk was very helpful and she took really good care of my stay And it was very comfortable and very close to shopping area.
If I'm ever traveling through Fredericksburg again I will definitely choose this place.”
“My husband and I had a wonderful time at Cotton Gin Village. The cabin is very cosy. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Sitting in the porch rocker in the evening. Breakfast is fabulous each morning. It was everything we needed for a few days away. The staff are also excellent, helpful and so friendly.”
