Settlers Crossing is a unique and peaceful property located on 35 acres just minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. It features eight historic homes, such as the Kusenberger Log Cabin and the Von Heindrich cabin, each offering comfortable stays full of character and original primitive elements. The cabins are clean, spotlessly clean, and brimming with history, featuring original stone floors and construction. They are comfortably furnished, often with antique pieces, and provide all necessary amenities including toiletries, utensils, and dishware. The ranch is very peaceful and picturesque, with sheep, deer, goats, and a donkey roaming freely. Guests enjoy watching the local wildlife each morning. The location is excellent, providing a quiet retreat while being close to Fredericksburg's historic district, wineries, Enchanted Rock, restaurants, and other attractions. Check-in and check-out are contactless, extremely easy, and simple. The property is corporate managed, with communication throughout the stay. While the cabins are generally clean and well-maintained, some minor upkeep items are occasionally noted. There is no WiFi, but cell service is reported as good. Overall, Settlers Crossing is a highly recommended, affordable, and special place to relax, recharge, and enjoy a unique historical experience.
Great location, beautiful setting, and impeccably restored cabins. My wife and I were blown away! Highly recommend.

This was a Mother, Daughter & Granddaughter weekend. We stayed in the Bohl Cabin and we enjoyed ourselves so very much! The Donkey (we called Pedro) and the Sheep welcomed us every day. We are looking forward to staying in another one of your homes.
