“Positive experience renting a unit. Professional and helpful staff. Unit was clean. Only negative for me is that there is no security gate for protection. Every place I’ve rented before has had one. There is a security code to access the building, but this gets inconvenient each time you have to enter the building while you’re loading/unloading. About costs, be aware of marketing gimmicks. They may offer free first month, but they bill at the first of the month; so don’t be surprised if you have to pay before your full month is up. They will prorate the first month, but they don’t prorate the month you leave if you leave before the month is over.”

“My daughter moved out into her own apartment and we needed help with moving her bedroom furniture from here to there. Called a few different Handymen, they said it was a movers job. I called 15 different movers, some said the job was too small. Others said they’d still have to charge for 2 hours minimum plus their trip fee which averaged between $350-400 just to move a queen bed, dresser and nightstand 10 minutes down the road. I called Emanuel at 3 p.m., they were here at 5 and had everything moved and assembled in less than 2 hours. He charged us a very fair price for 2 guys and a truck. They were quick and careful. If you need help with any size move, small or large, give Emanuel a call, they’re not above small move jobs like most others.”

“From start to finish, this was hands-down the best moving experience I’ve ever had — and I’ve moved over a dozen times across seven states.
When I first called, I spoke with Robert, and right away I could tell I was in good hands. His professionalism and warm demeanor over the phone immediately put me at ease. At the time, I wasn’t even sure of my new apartment yet, but he was so patient and understanding, giving me space to follow up when I had more details.
A couple of weeks later, I called back to book them — and I’m so glad I did. The day of the move, the team showed up 15–20 minutes early, which I really appreciated. They were professional, quick, and efficient — carefully moving everything from a first-floor apartment into a third-floor walk-up with ease. Not once did they complain or slack. They genuinely appreciated the waters and Gatorades I provided, which told me they value mutual respect and good energy.

“Would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn’t soooo old…. But I’ve been there through 3 managers and they have all been awesome. This company is doing something right because their managers stay with them for years. I have to admit the current manager and assistant mgr are pretty young and I’ve seen firsthand other customers getting disrespectful and out of line with them. Professional but stern and definitely not timid. They hold their own. It’s kind of funny to see these grown folks thinking they’re going to get their way by getting loud with the kids. Then see them pouting because they don’t get their way. I’ve also seen them help people out in a time of need. It’s all how you approach them. But hey, this property is not in the best of town so you know there’s a lot of testy people. However, never had an issue with the security of my work tools or any of my belongings. Location and age are the only reasons for not getting 5 stars. It is well kept and real nice for the age and location. Can we do 4.5 stars? Been here for years with 2-3 units.”
