What’s the point in making an appointment for a passport if no one comes out to help you or even acknowledge you.

Slow not helpful and they don't seem to care that you are a paying client. Stop offering passport services if your employees don't want to assist clients. They are rude.

Got an envelope in the mail today, a quarter-sized hole was ripped into it. I tore it open at the hole, and nothing was inside. Apparently there was a pin and a letter in the envelope that Friendswood Post Office stole (To the absolute suprise of nobody). There was literally nothing in the envelope, including the letter that was written on full sized paper, which means they rolled the note up and pulled it through the hole? Who does that?
When will they be investigated because all I see on here and Facebook are posts about how they steal everything that goes through that center. I’ve NEVER had this issue until I got mail specifically through Friendswood USPS, as all of my deliveries are through anyone other than them for this exact reason.

The worst post office . I was waiting a package and the man of the post office put the package in other mail. I went to the office and nobody solve my problem. They are not serious 🧐 they don’t care

AVOID THIS LOCATION IF YOU NEED A PASSPORT!! Booked an appointment for a passport but that just means scheduled waiting. I showed up 10 minutes before the appointment time (as it was recommended) but that was pointless. I pressed the service bell but nothing. No response. No acknowledgement. I suspect the bell is for decoration. It’s impressive how a place can be both open and completely absent of service at the same time.

Horrible horrible horrible experience. We had the passport appointment at 12:00 pm and we had to wait 40 minutes. Two other people in front of us had appointment too and they were waiting as well. If we were waiting 40 minutes so they almost 1 hour. It was like they don’t care about people who were there for passports. We had to remind them that we are waiting for passports with other people. All but 1 person were in lunch break, just slow and no where to sit as well.

Wow, what a horrible experience. Worst USPS service I've ever been too. Who would think the service would be so bad in Friendswood. My wife needed passport services so she scheduled online. She arrived 20mins early and waited behind 11 people inside, for 20mins, only to finally get to the counter and be told by the only counter agent, to go wait outside at the window. This was after waiting in line behind half of friendswood mailing packages. No signs directing passport folks to go outside to the window, nothing. So, she went and waited behind a couple people at the window, in the heat, because there was obviously no A/C on in the postal box area. Nobody EVER CAME TO THE WINDOW TO HELP THE PASSPORT PEOPLE WITH APPOINTMENTS. A whole hour lunch break wasted due to a bloated, inefficient, out of date, antiquated government bureaucracy. The USPS used to be the envy of the world. We could get anything from anywhere safely and on time. No, our slow and lazy system can't even staple a picture, to a pre-filled form, add the money order and ship within an hour. Hopefully DOGE will replace the archaic, obsolete and prehistoric USPS with internet, AI robotic and automated photo booths.

Passport. They are absolutely horrific. Don't bother coming here. They're rude and are not helpful and you will stand there with no chairs or bathrooms for 2 hours before anyone even shows a response.

Went for passport service.
The worker left early for the walk in time 10- 1
But my issue was with the other staff member (Asian lady). I rang the window and was left waiting. Went inside and was told the staff member who handles passports left for the day since she hit overtime.
My first issue was why couldn’t anyone say anything instead of letting me stand there.
Then when I said it’s not even 1 Pm and there were two people in line ahead of me that finished. Second issue was when the worker then said “she hit overtime do you want to pay her OT” which was unnecessary.
Left then turned around to ask for a supervisor since that was an uncalled comment and the supervisor was just as hostile with her tone. Saying they can’t do anything since the worker had an emergency and left. I’m not one to complain but that was the rudest experience I’ve had anywhere in a long time.

I had an appointment scheduled for 10:00 am and I even showed up at 9:50. The representative told me that someone would be in the lobby shortly. Fast forward to later and no help. Other people with appointments showed up after I did and no one helped us. What a terrible experience. I think they strategically planned for the customers to get restless and frustrated hoping we would leave. I finally left at 11:30 and so did others. If you need a passport try your local libraries, not this place. 🥴

Awful experience ! Show up at 9:30am to renew my son’s passport and only 3 people in line. The lady helps the first two people in line and refuses to help us being third in line. She said the main person that does passports wasn’t available , but she could help the first two only. She was very rude and dismissive !
I’m going to report this type of treatment to the BBB.

i feel like these old ladies are working for free their attitude towards the customers are amazingly ridiculous. please quit the job if you don’t like it i am sure someone would love to work there.

We were 5 mins late for our daughter’s passport appointment as we had to pick her up from school, lady told us they are short staffed and will not be able to help us at all although there was no one behind us. Staff not at all helpful
