Hours: Tru by Hilton Frisco Dallas is a super conveniently located hotel with tons of restaurants, shopping, and activities nearby. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and wonderful, contributing to an easy check-in and out. The hotel offers a tasty breakfast, a refreshing outside pool, a pool table in the lobby, and a snack bar. Guests find it a good hotel for the price and would stay again, with many noting the comfortable beds. However, experiences with room conditions vary. While some report clean rooms and lobby, others report significant issues. Multiple guests encountered rooms that were not clean, finding sticky stuff on pillow covers, sticky floors, hair on shower walls, and dirty soap bottles. Several rooms had maintenance problems, including a hot and muggy room with an AC that did not work, a toilet that ran continuously, a TV and remote not working properly, and a potentially hazardous, improperly attached stabilizing bar in a bathroom. Other complaints included stinky, rough towels, very small pillows, and a general musty smell. For some, these cleanliness and maintenance issues led to a pretty disappointing experience.
