About Gainesville Travel Information Center
The Gainesville Travel Information Center is a helpful and well-maintained stop for travelers heading into Texas. It offers clean, spacious, and bright restrooms that are available 24 hours a day, with family restrooms that are large and comfortable. The center features a large parking lot that is safe and open, making it easy to park and walk around. Visitors can also find a dog area with a large, unfenced space and puppy poo bags, ideal for letting pets stretch their legs. Inside, the center provides free professional travel planning assistance from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week, along with free maps and a wide variety of travel literature covering all parts of Texas. The staff is friendly, helpful, and eager to assist visitors in finding brochures for their planned destinations. The center also features a small WWII Monument and a gift shop, although it closes in the late afternoon. Overall, it’s a great place to stop for rest, information, and a quick walk, especially since it has historical significance as the first of its kind founded during Texas’s centennial anniversary.

Its an excellent location to rest, educate yourself about Texas, use restroom and take dog for a poop.
Only complaint is to update its restroom. Luckily though the outside restroom is 24/7.
There's also a green 24 marked pole in parking lot.
