Great park at the beginning of the Homegrown Hero Trail.Playground: There’s a small very nice playground with a slide.Restrooms: There are no restrooms here.Dog-friendliness: Great place to walk your dog, as well as a dog park across the street.

Beautifully maintained city park. Very peaceful. Certainly doesn't feel like your right downtown.Dog-friendliness: Don't let the dog catcher see you with your dog. He will ticket you if it's not on a leash, if you don't have a rabies tag with you, or your dog isn't registered with the city.

This is where the local skate park is... better option... Roanoke skate park... also free... way more features.Unlike this park, Roanoke is short a public park and Memorial Walking Trail.
