“The two cats inside the shop are cute. One friendly (the long haired) than the other (the short haired). The shop didn’t have anything that peaked my interest but I was with a company and at least one person purchased an item. They have zodiac necklaces here if anyone is interested.”

“Came in for an extended wkd trip w/ my guy from Lafayette, La. I’m an avid antique shopper… this is THE BEST antique shop I’ve EVER been too (and I’ve been to a ton of them). We met the owners and they were awesome. Super sweet and take great pride in their shop. Everything was well organized… and so many unique and beautiful things. Will definitely be back!”

“I love this place has everything in it and the gentleman is about the nicest man I've ever met. I pick up my wish items there plus I bought a watch and I've looked at a lot of antiques. He has so much stuff.. Hope chest ,dishes ,clothes, watches, jewelry. I can go on and on and on. So just look at some of these pictures and you'll see why I love this store.the whole reason why I started coming to the store was Just a accident. i deal with Wish. I was going to 99 degrees down the road. I come from Port Bolivar and I have to ride a ferry to get there. I checked hours Day off. and I showed up at 10 am. I sat out there until after 12 afternoon. and the owner can like its 10am when she was supposed to be open.I had to wait there .I had to wait just to pick up my wish items .. i was all ready up set. I asked her why she wasn't open on time? Mind you ,I wasn't happy at this point. The owner said that she was donating blood that day. but I had already gone next door.,After 2 hours of waitng. well they both told me ..they're never open until 12 or 1. I also was calling the number over and over. well I wrote a review about it. When I went to go pick up one of my last two orders. Which were already bought .shipped. So I have to come pick my wish Order . The owner looked at me and said , Are you the one that wrote a bad review about Me. I said yes, because all your sign said that you opened at 10am.And you wouldn't answer the phone. which is her cell .. package. and she proceeded to tell m I wasn't allowed back in her store again for the review I wrote. . She then saidI have ruined business with wish and I only had a problem with Wish not her. I told her that was a lie because i wrote about how she don't know how to run a business. and be open at the hours, the owner advertising.Well my last order came in yesterday to 98degrees.well mynotification tell me that my package was there. at the store and by the time I got to the car I was refunded. I had to wait a month already for my wish package. during that time where I started coming here. The second time I walked in the door. The Wish app is alway ready for business. Hes kind, helpful, open on time, polite. and that how i ended up coming to the antique shop. And today I bought this watch . the owner had just put a brand new battery in it. Best thing cost me $16 , sterling silver. . I've been in and around a lot of businesses in Galveston.. customer serviceit's always bad people don't like to fuss with you are bothering youdirections to on the phone. at this store very comfortable. lots of not so comfortable for children. Every 2 to 3 weeks,I definitely will be Ryan that ferry off Port Bolivar and being gone for four or five hour cast to stop at Chymoons Vintage & Antiques or without wish.”

“I have bought several things here, from furniture to figurines, to art. There are so many things to look at. There are some items that are really reasonable and some that are a bit higher than I'd pay, but I've gotten a lot of good deals!”

“Loved browsing these whimsical finds with an exciting mix of new and old, and handmade gifts. The nativities collection was beautiful! Found a treasure for my preteen crafty artsy bookworm! The owners were reassuring, helpful with recommendations, and very upbeat just like their store! Such a fun place to explore wish I had hours more to check it out!”

“This business has been around for about a year. It is not a consignment shop. Despite being in a relatively small space it is packed with all kinds of neat curios. We spent quite some time looking over everything because there is so much to see. At this point they are doing some construction and expanding the place. This is definitely a nice little spot to check out for unique little finds. There is usually plenty of street parking as well.”

“There is a lot to look at inside this antique store. Aisles are decently clear for limited mobility guests. The only sign or marking on door just says antiques so that was a bit confusing on the name of the place. Restroom was through a dark room with no paper towels and dirty floor with a paint bucket next to toilet.”

“We stopped by here after a day at Moody Gardens today. This shop had a little of everything, and a lot of charm. My daughter, who collects tea cups, found one that she loved, and I found an Edgar Allen Poe book from 1927. Both were very reasonably priced. The proprietors were super nice and very knowledgeable. Quick note: if you are looking for uranium glass, they know the value of what they have, and you will pay it. It's best to keep looking for that stuff at random thrift stores that don't know its value. Their pieces were individually priced, which wasn't bad, but I couldn't bring myself to buy just one piece that was obviously part of a set, and that just wasn't in my budget. If it's in yours, then go for it. They had some great sets.”

“This wonderful antique store is a hidden gem nestled away in Galveston, Texas. I was in town visiting from San Antonio, and my mom and I stumbled into this shop randomly because we like antiques. The minute we entered, I enjoyed everything from the warm welcome to the Jodie Mitchel Pandora playlist that was playing in the store. Everything was neatly arranged, organized, and categorized. My favorite item was the wicker chest. If I had the space in our car, I would've love to have purchased this. My mom purchased a Campbells soup cup and a seashell scarf. I didn't catch the woman's name who was behind the counter, but we were there on Friday, August 4th around 11:30 am. Thank you for an all around positive experience! :)”

“The boutiques at the Peanut Butter Warehouse are most unique to the Strand. Full of vendors from Artwork, decor, collectibles, toys, gifts, retro & iconic fashions, artesian jewelry makers, custom trendy t-shirts & vintage items make this place a true treasure.I recently bought a gently used semi-formal and a handcrafted new and much-needed winter stocking cap and spent merely pocket change. They even have someone making peanut butter, fresh & delicious cookies, and fudge with warm winter drinks. The vibe is excellent; there is music; the place is clean, and there is much to see; it is a one-stop shop; it even has some men's clothing, and the booths/vendors have done a fantastic job displaying items. All should do this: a place to browse, support local artists and vendors, and have a good time!”

“Nice place to visit. Lots of nice things. Decent prices. Cute! Cute clothes, but if you any size besides xs, s or medium. Forget it. Your out of luck. And I think the shoes might have been 7 ½ being the biggest size. Go check this place out tho. Something to do in Galveston that's fun. The lasy that worked there was a gem. Enjoyed her conversation!”
