“Beautiful, genuine Native American jewelry sold by very knowledgeable owner. The shop has been on The Strand in Galveston for 30 years. This is not a cheesy tourist shop. Sante Fe Trails has gorgeous cuffs, earrings, Navajo pearls, heishe beads, pendants and rings. Materials include, but are not limited to, silver and turquois, White Buffalo, Wild Horse, jet, jasper, spiney oyster and opal. The turquoise comes from many mines, some of which have closed long ago. It's one of the nicest shops I've been to this side of New Mexico and Arizona. I saw where someone said it isn't cheap and she was correct, but her prices are very fair for the quality. I will definitely be returning soon.”

“I vacationed at the the coast in mid September. The first day I arrived I had to hike up a flight of stairs that caused me a great deal of concern. It hurt so much walking up the staircase I thought to myself, "I am in trouble this week!" Two days later we ventured into the store while shopping in Galveston. While inside the store, I read that the electromagnetic jewelry was beneficial for knee pain. I had no idea if it would benefit me and the bracelet that was handpicked by someone waiting on me was strangely my perfect style. I most likely bought it more for the style. I was informed that I leave it on all the time. The next morning I walked down the same staircase that was a major concern and there was no pain. My son-in-law remarked that I was moving more freely. I have had the bracelet on for 2 weeks and I have been sleeping more soundly which was another benefit. I am remarkable thrilled over this purchase.”

“The boutiques at the Peanut Butter Warehouse are most unique to the Strand. Full of vendors from Artwork, decor, collectibles, toys, gifts, retro & iconic fashions, artesian jewelry makers, custom trendy t-shirts & vintage items make this place a true treasure.I recently bought a gently used semi-formal and a handcrafted new and much-needed winter stocking cap and spent merely pocket change. They even have someone making peanut butter, fresh & delicious cookies, and fudge with warm winter drinks. The vibe is excellent; there is music; the place is clean, and there is much to see; it is a one-stop shop; it even has some men's clothing, and the booths/vendors have done a fantastic job displaying items. All should do this: a place to browse, support local artists and vendors, and have a good time!”
