Santa Fe Trail is a beautiful and genuine Native American jewelry shop on The Strand in Galveston, where it has been for 30 years. It is not a cheesy tourist shop but one of the nicest shops this side of New Mexico and Arizona. The shop sells gorgeous, unique, and timeless pieces including cuffs, earrings, Navajo pearls, heishe beads, pendants, rings, lamps, knives, and gifts. Materials include silver, turquoise from many mines, White Buffalo, Wild Horse, jet, jasper, spiney oyster, and opal. The merchandise is unbelievable and of great quality, with very fair prices. Everyone who works there is fantastic, knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. They are willing to share information about the jewelry's origins, tribal histories, and the story of each piece, spending time to help customers find the perfect item. The experience is very pleasant, and they are known for their kindness, even helping with repairs. It is a great little shop with amazing things and a highly recommended place to shop.
