“Let me start by saying, l like McCoys. Additionally, their employees are all personable and welcoming. McCoy's is essentially a much truer source for lumber but they can be pricey on some things. Additionally, because they have a smaller footprint, product selection can be hit or miss. As an example, I went in specifically for a combo smoke and carbon monoxide detector. They had First Alert products which tend to be less but only the smoke detectors. The only combo model stocked was a BBK or whatever that is and it was $68. So.. it was either leave, drive 13 miles to Home Depot or pay up. Again, I still have an appreciation for the company but wished they did better woth pricing and product selection. For what it's worth, my service dog liked the hat so there's that. We're all set now for the Texas Heat! 😆”

“There's plenty of places to do home shopping. I'm lucky that the closest most convenient location happens to always be full of the friendliest staff. Today I met Maurice Clark in the door handle section who helped me get me items as we chatted about our love for music. And Edith who helped me check out who taught me how upcs line up with the item number on the receipt as we confirmed our smart lock.It's the little things, when employees take it just the right amount of slow, that makes a place a return destination. This location has it down pact. I can even remember Scott's name from a week ago who helped me in the tools department, and gave me a water bottle from the employee fridge because I was dripping sweat. (Granted he's been helping me for 2 years now and always a pleasure.)Sorry - last name drop. Guiellermo who politely smiled when he saw I bit off more than I could chew but still helped me get the fork in my mouth :)Even the kids who helped me load my truck - scrappy go getters. I'll continue to do my shopping here simply because when I come I walk into a place of people who are just as excited as I am to try and build some cool stuff for my house.”
