This project lasted many months -- including my surgery delay -- but some unexplained delays. I stand by my earlier review comment to a homeowner: get product selections in writing for your benefit and theirs. Fact is: Dan, Dixie, Dara are experienced professionals. “We hired the folks at Soleil Floors to replace our very low quality and rapidly deteriorating vinyl floor with a waterproof engineered hardwood. They did the whole house, including the stairs. We had some tricky things to deal with -- including uneveness across the floors and a wonky staircase (which led Lowes to refuse to complete the entire job). From start to finish Jonathan and his team were the height of professionalism and customer service. Jonathan even made a special trip to our place so that we could see floor samples he ordered especially for our job. And, when we forgot to get the paint that matched our walls to do the trim, Jonathan just took care of it for me -- no fuss, no muss. Soleil is a one-stop shop, and they were able to move our furniture around and reconnect our appliances, and they addressed every single issue encountered with the floor and the stairs. They made the entire process as easy as it could be from the homeowner's perspective. The result is a beautiful, durable, hardwood surface that we know will last. The craftsmanship and attention to detail from Victor, the carpenter, was especially appreciated. We were thrilled with work overall, and would recommend Soleil to anyone in the Austin area.
