I visited this location today and had an extremely disappointing experience with two cashiers, and the on duty manager, Anthony. I have been shopping here regularly for the past year since moving from Las Vegas, where I always had great experiences at Albertsons.
When heading to check out, both aisle lights were on, I entered aisle 3 and my mother, a disabled veteran, entered aisle 4. The cashier from aisle 4 was bagging for aisle 5 and told my mother to move to aisle 5 (no choice). Then when she got in this line immediately left, leaving her waiting behind a customer who was still unloading groceries to go assist two caucasian customers in aisle 4 without directing them to move.
My mother was visibly in pain leaning on her cart, yet she received no bagging assistance, was spoken to patronizingly, and had to bag all of her own items. The guest behind her, along with the cashier, watched while she struggled. In aisle 3, I also had to bag my own groceries while items were thrown toward me and the cashier stared at my mother bagging my groceries instead of helping. In contrast, the two other guests received full assistance without hesitation. When I asked who the manager was, staff questioned why I was asking instead of simply providing the name.
I approached the manager, Anthony, who was already speaking disrespectfully to an elderly guest who was confused about a promotion. When I explained the situation, he dismissed it, stating he couldn’t do anything since he didn’t witness it. The lack of accountability and the evident difference in treatment was unacceptable. I have been a FreshPass member for 3+ years and even purchased a membership for my mother. Sadly, after today’s discriminatory and unprofessional treatment, I will be reporting this experience and reconsidering shopping at this location.

Clean and not too busy during the mornings. Normally, only pricey on specific items like most supermarkets.

One of the worst decisions you can make for yourself is deciding to seek employment with Randall’s. This store specifically, loves to play the blame game. Management and higher ups blame employees for everything that goes wrong. You’ll be in good company if you love to hear condescending phrases like “you should have” or “that’s our policy” or “we need to to be”. And my favorite “it’s your stuff” when truck day comes and all departments with orders in the freezer need to organize. That’s the thing though isn’t it, bakery department has more stuff and always will. It’s funny how other departments don’t get that kind of treatment though. Other departments can leave stuff on pallets and block the bakery wall all they want to. The grocery manager is the worst and doesn’t deserve his role in the company at all. He’s rude to employees, and doordashers. Short with people and very snappy. But if you call him out on it it’s all about “superior this” and “and follow orders” that. There is no respect for employees here. Not from him or the higher ups. Bo is a good dude tho. The only decent one really in those management roles. Not like the grocery manager at all who follows around the store manager like a puppy starting drama and manipulating people and situations like only a true “leader” can. And don’t ever ask for more money here, nope, they don’t pay you well at all, in fact they’d love nothing more than to pay you 11hr if they could. You will not make a “living” here. At all. In fact I was told by the store director that I could make a “career” out of this job. It was a horrible insult than a compliment. People hardly even get paid in thank yous or appreciation. It’s more like a slave ship here. Do what I say and be grateful for us giving you anything at all. And don’t ever work for drive up and go here. They actually think one person can do 100 orders in a day… the amount of Stu… running through there heads here is embarrassing. ? they won’t pay you enough to keep you. You can literally make more working at a fast food restaurant if if you wanted. It’s just downright sad. They have zero competition with heb and it won’t surprise me if the store shuts down when the new heb comes near here. I’ve seen so many expired items on the sales floor… and moldy breads, so be sure to read the dates, clearly the grocery manager ROBERT doesn’t do his job, but definitely loves to bark orders to flood his ego with a false sense of importance. They will fire you for speaking up and out and standing your ground. I have a zero tolerance policy of my own for people who believe they are better than others and believe they can control someone just because they have a higher position of authority. When you abuse people and your authority you are indeed a little tyrant that will never earn the respect of your employees. Management all the way up to the district manager really need to unlearn manipulation tactics and blame game strategy as a form of superiority and control. You do not own people. It’s important to remember that. And to respect people if you want to keep them. I only stayed as long as I did because of my bakery people. Not because I felt appreciated by anyone else in any other department. This is not a good place to work. It’s a very bad work environment. There are some good people who work here. Minus the majority of management.

Way over priced food and you have to bag your own groceries… Thankful for H‑E‑B, better prices and they bag your groceries.

Randalls had corn on the cob fresh and delicious 4/$1.00.
Specifically went there for this particular promotion as we needed to buy a butt load of corn.
They display was sitting out in a 42 inch pallet box that was a 36 inches tall and the corn was filled from top to bottom. Every single one of them was rotted And moldy, moldy, moldy
You could tell it from across the store is everything that was in the bin, all of the ears of corn had a black look to it, and when you open the ears of corn, you can see black mold on the actual ear, and there Was not a single ear that did not have mold.
Take a look at the picture below, enlarge it, and look at all the black, both in the husk and in the corn
I worked at the grocery store 55 years ago when I was in high school and my store manager would have seen me put out garbage like this. They would’ve fired me on the spot
I called the store as the title means, and he was shocked that they would sell something like this. He was definitely going to have a talk
If their produce manager didn’t see when they put it on the floor and not a single employee over the last two days, walked by that produce display and said a word to anyone somebody needs not Just talking to, they need to be terminated. I can imagine if somebody young or an elderly didn’t notice all of this they might’ve used it cooked it and gotten sick
This is why we never go to Randalls for anything other than their loss leaders and in this case that cost them this customer and hopefully many many more

Pleasantly surprised by a quick stop in this Randalls while camping. I've never seen such a selection of gluten free Oreo flavors. Immediately had to send the photo to my other gluten free friend. P.S. GF Oreos are gluten and dairy free.

Great customer service. Prices are way too high compared to HEB and Walmart.
