I’m not sure why this place only gets 3 stars. We originally were set to stay in building 711 but ended up needing a suite. Both rooms were clean and everything is serviceable. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we had to switch rooms. The plus sides are the sides are the price ( very affordable), both rooms had a small, stocked kitchen , cleanliness, and the bed and furniture was comfortable. The only cons were the shower water temperature was a little touchy, a minor inconvenience in my opinion and you can’t control the thermostat. Luckily we could open the windows and crack the door so even though the room was a little warm, we were able to get comfortable. If you want an affordable and clean place to stay I highly recommend. It’s not the lap of luxury but completely doable.

Overall, it's better than the barracks. Their AC broke down in one of the hottest summers on record and that limited the space available. I was told I got the last room available. Don't wait to make your reservation. Wi-Fi is reliable. TVs meet standards from 2005. There are structural issues that the management pointed out to me during our conversation. This place needs either a remodel or a rebuild. It should be put in the budget. The coffee machine in the lobby broke several times upon my stay, too.Nerds and fire dog students are going to keep visiting this establishment. It should be updated.Walkability: You can walk to the store and the school house. No need to drive on base.Food & drinks: There's a 24 hour snack shop in the lobby.

I didn’t get the chance to stay here as the rooms were all booked, but have heard good things. Yet the customer service was very interesting. Sheryl who answers the front desk phone is amazing and very helpful! Yet when I needed a typed confirmation of the overall expected price for our stay for financial aid, the customer service manager was completely uninterested in understanding/helping. He was very frustrating to try & work with and could take some customer service notes from Sheryl. This review is really just a complaint that a manager was bitter about doing his job lol.

Lodging here is absolutely terrible. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND . The shower and sink water smells horrible like it may be contaminated. They have pest issues, the staff dismisses complaints. Cracks in the doors which invites all types of critters, Cleaning staff doesnt knock before entering room, they just walk straight in to toss trash and replace towels no REAL cleaning. The floors are disgusting they do not vaccumm. The carpet doesnt look to have been cleaned in the last 10 years. The refrigerator in the room was extremely loud sounding like it was about to take flight. If you are TDY I suggest sacrificing your perdiem and book an off base hotel.

I do have to say, staying here was definitely a great experience. The room was extremely spacious and clean when I got there. The staff was very helpful and kind. I had zero issues, I had came to see my husband and it definitely met our expectations and satisfaction. Would definitely stay here again!Rooms: Very clean. Very organized, comfortable.Walkability: Every food area was at a walking distance so nothing was far from here.

Horrible conditions all around. Plumbing barely works, showers are moldy, room in itself is outdated, I wouldn't dare walk barefoot on it.

If possible, avoid staying on base during your TDY. While the shared bathroom is manageable, it can become frustrating if your bathroom mate forgets to unlock the door. Additionally, the room tends to get uncomfortably hot, so it's advisable to bring multiple fans. Be prepared to encounter ants and other insects in your room. On the bright side, you'll have access to cable TV.

DO NOT STAY HERE if you have a choice. They have no business charging as much as they do when there are places out in town for the same price with more amenities. Here are a list of pros and cons:Pros:-Free wifi-Computers with CAC access-Coffee machine-Fan in roomCons:-Shared bathroom-Shower that can’t make up its mind-Rusty disgusting furniture-Cockroaches-(probably) Asbestos - It’s on a military base so this goes without saying-Unfriendly staff-Undrinkable water (the water machine out front breaks every 15 minutes and it takes these dummies a month to fix it-You have no control over the thermostat, it gets set to whatever the powers-at-be decide. If it is 85 in February, doesn’t matter it is still winter and the heat will run. Absolutely ridiculous. It will be 80 degrees in the room and the staff will say “well that’s just sorta how it is, if it really bothers you you can wait until spring when they change the thermostat.”The only way this place gets away with the stuff it does is because they can screw over military personnel and no one is going to say anything about it. Any civilian run establishment would have an idea what customer service and hospitality is. I would rather stay under an overpass. Unimpressed. Minus-5 stars.

We stayed in the family unit and it was great. We had a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a couch that pulled out into a full size bed. The only way they could improve was if the mattress on the couch bed was foam instead of springs. Other than that having full dish set and kitchen saved us a lot of money on eating out and the location was within walking distance of my daughter.

Being a prior military family I think the nice and clean of this base/post lodging stands out. We stayed 3 nights to attend my daughter’s graduation here. We got to stay in the Temp family lodging facility which had a full kitchen, bath, and two bedrooms.. and a full laundry as well. This is a small installation and everything is within walking distance. If you have kids you’re literally 10 min walk into housing to the play ground, if it’s summer a short distance to the pool. I can’t speak for the dorm style/barracks rooms that are right near the sign. But I do recommend for $96 dollars a night.

No stove, no real sink or table to eat at, yet the pipeline students got all those amenities. Room was 82 degrees because they turned the heater on when the outside weather was still in the mid to high 70s. Absolutely atrocious.Update: Suzie in accounting is by far the worst manager I have had the displeasure to interact with. She has constantly ignored my voice mails, and the messages I leave at the very friendly front desk staff and constantly has alerted my command to an issue (GTC, big surprise) that they are already tracking, and proceeds to leave very condescending voice messages as if I am about to be drafted in the Russian Army to fight in Ukraine for my 'failure' to pay the account balance. I would rather dig a fighting hole with nothing but a broken pen and share it with a rabid racoon than suffer this deplorable hotel. If you are TDY and stay in this hotel, I wish you the best.

Honestly overall a really bad choice. Looking back would have been much better getting a hotel off base. The rooms were dirty as soon as we walked in. The AC didn’t work and the staff didn’t really care when we told them. The staff was the worst part they are very rude and disrespectful and ruined the stay here. It also wasn’t even a very good price for the quality of the room. Wasn’t expecting much but it was really disappointing. There are places off base to stay at a similar if not better price that would be much better than here. Will not stay again.

I was in the student housing for priors. The family or traditional hotel will likely have a different experience. My room was on the bottom floor. Cockroaches get in the room often. One surprised me in the shower, one was in my sink in my room. Three times bugs crawled across my face while sleeping. Massive spiders two times on my wall. No idea why they decided to have rooms that open to the outside. So stupid.Staff cleaned the rooms everyday and did a good job. You will share a bathroom with someone else. Annoyingly, they can lock you out of the bathroom and leave, meaning you need to go to the front desk to unlock the door. My suite mate used to have loud intercourse and you could hear everything. Thin walls. It's liveable. Fridge was larger than expected and had a freezer and microwave. Internet wasn't completely awful. Try to get off base if you can. Upper floors probably don't have as many bug issues.Walkability: Tiny base so easy to walk everywhere. Only used my car when leaving base.
