The Angelo Inn offers a range of accommodations primarily suited for visitors to a military installation. Some rooms are spacious and well-kept, especially those without shared bathrooms, and come with amenities like small, stocked kitchens and comfortable furniture. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, making the stay more pleasant. Many guests appreciate the cleanliness and the convenient walkability to local stores, food areas, and other facilities, which often eliminates the need for driving on base. However, the inn has several issues. Some rooms are converted from old dorms and feature shared bathrooms, thin walls, and mold on vents, which can be bothersome. The building's infrastructure shows signs of age, with structural issues, outdated TVs, and broken amenities like the lobby coffee machine. During peak summer, air conditioning can break down, leading to uncomfortable room temperatures, though opening windows often provides relief. The heating can get very hot, and the thermostat is not controllable in some rooms, which may cause inconvenience. Guests report that the inn is better than barracks, yet it needs significant updates or remodeling to improve comfort and functionality. Despite these drawbacks, the inn remains a budget-friendly option, especially for short stays, with many appreciating its walkability and basic amenities. Overall, Angelo Inn provides a clean, affordable place to stay with friendly staff, but it is recommended to be prepared for its age and shared facilities.

The walls are super thin and there was mold on the main vent. It gets very hot with the heating on. If I had to go back to Goodfellow I would try everything to stay... read full comment

Stayed here several times as a retiree during road trips. It's the nicest military lodging I've seen.

Have not stayed here. But spoke with Amn Rojas who was awesome and professional. Looking forward to possibly staying there in the near future.
