May 20, noonish. This has never happened to me. I’m on a tight time schedule today. I need new knees, I have so many steps, before my knees shut me down. And I’m old, can you say pelvic floor issues. If you know, you know. I stopped at this location, because this store is not as large as the others, less effort to shop. Time is not my friend today!
I got all of my items, and the bathroom is calling me. I find the bathroom, leave my buggy at the entrance, to the back area. Do my business, and wash my hands twice. I come out, and my buggy is gone. I search the entire area, nothing. I was not in that bathroom, long enough, for anyone to assume my buggy was abandoned. I had no idea, what or why someone would take my loaded buggy, but it was gone!
I head up front, looking down every isle checking. I get almost to service desk, the other end of the store. I see my buggy and a guy pushing it. I pop a uturn and backtrack. I finally catch him in the jelly isle, 2/3 way at the other end of the store. My basket is all but empty, alls that’s in it…is 10 cans of cream of chicken soup, in that top lil basket at the front.
I said, hey, that’s my buggy. He says, ohh I’m sorry. I thought someone just left it. I said, At the bathroom entrance? I had to use the bathroom. He said, I’m sorry, let me..
I was dumbfounded, and looked at him, It was by the bathrooms. Can you imagine me taking that buggy in the bathrooms? That’s not an option. Where was I suppose to leave it? I said, No, I’ll do it myself. I was not nice. Repeat, The buggy was by the bathrooms, wth. All that shopping for nothing! I don’t have the time or knees to do this again.
I’m not happy, so I go to b”@&$. I asked the service desk, who do I B too. The woman says, what’s the problem. I tell her. Then young man comes by, standing behind me off to the side. He’s explaining to another employee what went down. She waves her hand and dismissively says. “Don’t worry about it, let management handle it”!
Seriously…acting dismissive? My full buggy gets taken, and it’s nothing. I say, “Don’t anyone worry about it, I’ll call the 1800bitch number.” I left the store. Yes, in a snit. I’ve got crap to do, with those items I have to reshop for.
I’m sitting in the parking lot, regrouping. I called another grocery store on Broad. I explained my situation to them. I got confirmation my order is ready. There’s other stores.
I haven’t called the 800 number yet. But maybe the general public or Kroger management can tell me how, I can protect my buggy at bathroom entrances? Do I need to make a sign, “BUGGY IN USE! I’m using the facilities.”
Maybe this could be a side hustle, buggy in use signs?

From out of town and stopped in to grab my baby his formula, it was 9pm it was NOT busy. I noticed there was a coupon for the formula so I clipped it last minute to my Kroger card at the check out. The coupon didn’t show, so I asked the attendant about why it wasn’t showing and she basically told me that if I just clipped it that I would need to try my Kroger card. I didn’t have it, so I voided the transaction which she had to come back again for. I explained I wanted to try and void it to cancel out my transaction and re scan it to see if it would show up since I had clipped it after I hit check out the first time. She looked at me and made a gesture that was like she was trying not to be rude and said “I told you that’s not how it works.” So I said if it doesn’t I’ll just pay for it anyways then. So she scanned her code and I rescanned the formula and went to check out and guess what. IT WORKED. I paid but an error message popped up, calling her over once again. She had trouble scanning her code and eventually she got it to scan, while she was there I told her it worked and she just walked off which was rude. This is why I shop at Target, always friendly.

Customers needing money order from customer service isn't a priority when "short staffed" so basically told go somewhere else cause they can't help me. Told to come back at a later time. A huge inconvenience I don't have gas to be going back and forth because the store is under staffed. All customers should be a priority when walking into the doors.

We shop here weekly and for the most part they have good prices. Most of the employees are excellent and that makes it a joy to go there. The parking lot is large with plenty of handicap parking.

Update: 6/2/24 my first time using the self checkout here and it kept giving me a weird message but the young lady playing on her phone did not have time for me, will continue to avoid this store. Walked in at around 9 am the other day and there was a long line of people waiting to check out on the self checkout with apparently no other check out option. I turned around and walked out, will continue to avoid this store . Redonk.

We typically go to this Kroger with minimal issues, but tonight was very disappointing. I arrived for a pickup 20 minutes in to my pick up order slot. The worker kindly told me she was the only one working and that she’d be working on my order soon. 30 minutes passed and I called to ask the manager if they could send someone else over, they said they would send someone, but I sat there a total of 1 hour, and didn’t receive my order until 20 minutes after my time slot ended. I never saw the original worker again. There was no apology or offer to make up for the unacceptable wait time.

Do not order pick up from this store. I use to order every week but stopped in October 2023 because they pushed my order back 2 hours. I did give them another chance, and they pushed it back an hour. When I called to ask when my order might be ready, I was told,"I don't know".

Outside of this location being TRASH compared to other Kroger stores, please correct your operating hours!!! You advertise closing at 1am when its actually midnight (per the employee speaking to me through the door). YOU REALLY HAVE PEOPLE WASTING THEIR PRECIOUS TIME AND GAS IN LATE NIGHT EMERGENCY SITUATIONS! DO BETTER!!!!
