Petco is a health and wellness company focused on pets. This Grand Prairie location offers a broad range of brand-name nutrition products and supplies for various animals, along with full-service grooming, veterinarian services, Vetco Vaccination Clinics, adoption services, and training classes. Customers can shop online for pickup or delivery.
Reviews note the staff is frequently described as the greatest, friendliest, knowledgeable, patient, empathetic, and wonderful, making visits feel personal. The store is consistently seen as nice and clean with a superb selection of healthy and reliable items. Many customers adore this location, calling it the best Petco.
However, experiences with grooming services are mixed, with one customer reporting a disappointing haircut result for a high price. While the place is clean, a heavy smell of wet dogs is sometimes noted. Additionally, the discount area can lack proper price tags. On the rare occasion of an issue with an order, the team resolves it timely and professionally.
I went in there looking for a very specific product. Not only did they help me find it they helped me understand which one was best for my puppies needs.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The young man helped me find a new product that had its own display, away from the regular dog food. Very nice and refreshing to have such great service

The store is well located and the help is personable however, somewhat short of staff and consistently out of Hills I/D Chicken/vegetable stew for dogs.
