The Grand Prairie VA Clinic provides healthcare services to veterans, offering a range of medical treatments and facilities. While the majority of patients report positive experiences with the professional and courteous staff, some have encountered issues with the clinic's operations. Many patients appreciate the clean, state-of-the-art facility and the timely, efficient service they receive, with one reviewer describing their visit as "flawless" and exceeding their high expectations. The staff is generally described as polite and professional, catering to the needs of the veteran community. However, some patients have had negative experiences with the clinic, particularly regarding the interactions with a specific doctor, referred to as Dr. P. Patients have reported that Dr. P can be rude, rushing through appointments and dismissing their concerns, making them feel like their stories and experiences do not matter. Additionally, the long wait times for follow-up appointments, sometimes up to six months, have been a source of frustration for some patients. Furthermore, the clinic's phone system has been cited as inadequate, with messages often not being relayed accurately, leading to communication breakdowns. Despite these issues, the overall sentiment towards the Grand Prairie VA Clinic is positive, with the majority of patients satisfied with the care and services provided.
Great service. Staff was excellent and professional, thank you.

The people working there were good. It was the phone system that was inadequate. Calling and leaving a message meant that the message often relayed different than what you were trying to get across.

I was wowwed. My 1st visit and they were great. I arrived a little b4 0730, was screened and checked in, in under 5 min. Everyone here was friendly and courteous, in good moods (maybe TGIF), the lap people were professionally proficient and I am typing this 0840. Thats pretty darn good in my book!
