“I had a great and wonderful visit today; there are no words to explain it. I came for a DOT physical, and the staff was amazing. The doctor was amazing, the service was in and out, and the customer service was great. For truck drivers, this is the place to go. Overall, this business is amazing and humble. Beautiful work staff!!!”

“We came here to get tested for covid and I am so thankful we did. Once we were finished they said they also administer vaccines if we needed one. We already had scheduled at another clinic for the vaccines. We went to the other clinic and while we were sitting in the parking lot they told us the scheduled us incorrectly and only had my husband and I listed not our kids that we already signed out of school to take care of this. I called Dr. Joy and told her what happened. She and her MA told us not to worry and they will make it happen. They saw us short notice and Dr Joy was so kind and gentle with the kids. We are in awe of the love, patience and care Dr Hoy has for her patients. Very grateful for her.”

“I was in and out in about 10 minutes and the lady who took my blood was kind, understanding, and most of all didn’t hurt me. The place was clean and is in a very convenient location.”

“I was recently asked to transfer to Grand Prairie VA Clinic from Fort Worth VA Clinic due to the proximity to my home. I was extremely hesitant about switching due to the number of negative reviews, but I decided to see what the hype was about. My appt was scheduled to see a nurse at 1400 and I arrived at 1325, the check in staff was courteous and efficient. By 1340 I was called back by Nurse Jamey who was extremely professional, an avid listener, and took my medical concerns seriously. She explained the process I would have to take and what the doctor may or may not do considering my symptoms. Overall, I was pleased with my experience , even got a flu shot out of the deal.

For those that are experiencing negative interactions and are not getting the help that you need, make sure you contact the patient advocate department and file a complaint. There is no reason any Veteran should not feel heard and/or have their medical concerns addressed.”
