“We have gone to Old Town for a couple briskets, turkey (the whole bird and boneless lobes) for company events and everything has been phenomenal. I also always grab some of their house made sausage while I am there...can't resist!”
“Food, service, quality cuts of meat. Everything was fantastic. I Was looking around, and this dude slapped 2 steaks on the counter, promised I wouldn't be disappointed, so I bought them. ( I wanted to prove him wrong). I think They were "Chuck-eye" I normally eat ribeye, Porterhouse, wagu, occasional NY strip... wth is a chuck eye?... ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! Salt, pepper, and these were "FIRE". Thanks NY butcher shop. I'll be back again.”
“Initially I thought this was a overpriced meat market. But we gave it a try and found their meats are higher quality and prices are surprisingly reasonable. Staff was always helpful, definitely recommend.”
“I usually come here for halal meat. The helpers at the meat and chicken counter are super nice and humble -always helpful and serving with a smile. If you want fresh cuts, I recommend going earlier in the day, around 11 AM to 4 PM, because if you show up after 8 PM, there’s usually only one or two trays of meat or chicken left. They have all kinds of halal cuts - beef, goat, and chicken. so it’s a solid spot for fresh meat. As for groceries, the selection of spices and other items is a bit limited, but overall, it’s a great place if you're looking for quality halal meat.”
“Mashallah Mashallah may Allah bless these brothers and their businesses, AmenThey got the best deal of halal meat , way cheaper then my previous Halal grocery at story roadThey always welcome you with a smile,I highly recommend to everyone looking for halal Shopping and a lower price”

“Excellent selection and prices! My Egyptian husband was thrilled to find such a place. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back when in the area.”
“This is primarily a meat market which is pretty cool for the area however it's all frozen products not fresh. They also have a variety of other items but little to nothing fresh. It is clean and the employees are very nice, and the meat I did buy was pretty good.”
“I’ve been going to El Tapatio Meat Market in Bedford for about a year now, and whenever I need good, flavorful meat, this is where I end up.
The carnitas are always on point. They’re tender, juicy, and have that rich flavor you want without being greasy. The barbacoa is just as solid, soft and easy to pull apart, perfect for tacos or plates at home. But the pastor is probably my favorite. It has some serious flavor. Smoky, well seasoned, and bold without being overpowering. It’s the kind of meat that doesn’t need much help. Throw it on a tortilla with some onions and cilantro and you’re set.
One thing about this place, it stays busy. Every time I walk in, there’s a line at the meat counter. That usually says everything you need to know. The guys working back there move fast and keep things flowing. Even when it’s packed, they don’t waste time. Sometimes it can be a little hard to understand them, especially when the store is loud and full, but they’re efficient and you’re not standing around forever waiting.
The only real downside is the space. The aisles are narrow, and when it’s crowded, it feels tight. You’ll probably have to squeeze past a couple people or wait for someone to move. It’s not the most comfortable shopping experience when it’s packed, but honestly, that just comes with the territory.
At the end of the day, I keep coming back because the quality is there. The meat is fresh, the flavors are strong, and they get you taken care of quickly. It may be busy and a little cramped, but it’s worth it.
Solid four stars.”
“Went to this place while visiting my daughter in Hurst, Texas. The man making our order was very friendly, talkative, and kind. The rest not so much. The barbacoa was great and the burritos weren't all tortilla. (My pet peave is having a burrito that's mostly tortilla.) They were out of carnitas that was a bummer but I had their chicharrones and they were great. I really wanted pan dulce but as soon as I opened the door it smelled stale. So disappointing. I really enjoyed what I did get and will be back. Maybe the pan dulce will be fresh and the employees will be kinder. Nonetheless every business deserves a 2nd and sometimes a 3rd chance. It is a new business and I will support them.”
“The beef barbecue ? is delicious, ? the best in all of DFW, it is not dripping in fat like in other places and the pork cracklings ? are delicious. The beef fajita is very delicious too. The place is small, it only has 4 or 5 tables to eat there, I have always ordered takeout. Don Juan and his employees are very friendly. ??”

“Great food! Prices are reasonable and portions are enough to where you can order many dishes and share, family style (which is the only way to eat Indian/Pakistan restaurants) Butter chicken is fantastic and it took a lot of restraint not to pick up the plate and lick the remaining sauce up in front of my co-workers. PLENTY of vegetarian options where you wouldn't even miss the meat if you just had these. Lots of flavor, spices were a bit mild for me, but I like things spicier that others Atmosphere is a bit lack-luster, but you don't go for that, you go for the food and that is done in spades. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Go directly to Texas King.”
