“I don't mind if you make a mistake as a business as long as you make it right and this company did!!! In a very big way!! My 6 year old had a flock of chickens as pets that were killed recently by a dog. She was devastated and I have been very troubled in trying to track down some replacements. I was told by the Granbury location to be at their location at 8am or I would miss the opportunity to get any baby chicks. I took time off from work and showed up in the pouring rain to be there 10 minutes early so as not to miss the opportunity. To my surprise no chicks! Cathy did apologize to me and said they normally don't do this but I would be put on a list and the first call when they come in the next day. Next day came and no call. So next morning I reached out again and to my surprise I was told all the chicks had sold. They apologized again and agreed they had dropped the ball but I would have to wait another week for a new shipment : ( I decided to start calling every Russel's location and drive any distance for my daughter. My 1st call was the Weatherford location, Rock answered and I explained the situation. He offered to call and find me the chicks! I couldn't believe it and in just a few minutes I was contacted by corporate who had located some in Haltom City. Jessica and Cassandra from that location allowed me to pick the breeds and drove them to Granbury so I could pick them up closer to home. I’m so impressed with how these locations all came together to take care of me and make things right for my daughter. They have won my business for life!!!”

“We were hunting for a pecan tree and loved the fact they show their inventory and pricing online! We drove the 45 miles and were not disappointed and actually surprised when walking into the Haven. What a cool place with friendly folks! We bought the tree and they wrapped both the base as well as the top to ensure we didn't lose foliage on the drive home. Five big stars and I imagine we'll make the drive again sometime so we can be inspired some more. Thanks again.”

“There is a gentleman by the name of Kenny, I believe he is one of the managers at the Hulen Store. He is a super friendly, intelligent worker. I have been going to this store for over 5 years. I do a lot of landscapinging. I was not having a good day the other day and if it was not for his quick response and help I would of walked out. He always seems to pay attention to detail. I normally send in only bad review to be honest but he definitely deserves 5 stars today. I hope someone see's this that is not having a good day and goes to shop at the Hulen Store.Thanks, Gary”

“I had kept forgetting to write a review about LSGC, back in the early summer last year, and just had to get this in. One of my passions is gardening, and planting and lawn & Garden upkeep. Mainly it's more nostalgic, helping my dad when I was a kid bagging the grass, always brings back good memories. I know a lot of dad's will agree, that there is no smell better than a fresh cut lawn, with an ice cold brew in the hand at the end. I have been getting my flowers and plants from LSGC for the last few years, and they never seem to disappoint with there On-hand stock. I feel like a kid in a toy store when I take my wife shopping for plants. The customer service is spot on, these folks know there inventory, which if your into the green thumb side, that is a huge help for them to know. Swing by this place if your going for a nice landscape in the back or front yard, they have a huge selection of colorful life to brighten your yard with.”

“Perfect weekend to work in the garden and get our vegetable beds prepared. Our landscape contractor had gotten the most amazing soil from these guys when we did a big project a couple years ago, so we popped into see if we could find some for ourselves this year. Angelina was super helpful and we were in and out in about 15 minutes on a busy Saturday morning. Our Ridgeline easily held 1/2 cubic yard, so when we go back for decomposed granite, we will borrow a bigger pickup!”

“This Calloways location is located conveniently on the highway which I appreciate. The lady who was my cashier recommended a poinsettia as a low maintenance plant and guided me towards other low maintenance plants. I ended up with the poinsettia and pothos that are doing well and enjoy the bright indirect light. The prices are decent and they provide a plant holder/cover for the plants which I appreciate. There are plenty of places to park, service is friendly and they had a fireplace that brought a lovely aroma of cinnamon. I look forward to returning.”

“I am in town for a conference, and this charming shop lured me in through the courtyard. I walked in to Norah Jones coming through the speakers and an absolute tropical plant heaven. Shée (I hope I spelled her name correctly) is an absolute delight and so knowledgeable. If it weren’t for the cold, I do believe a few of your Hoyas would be going back to Columbia, SC with me. I did see a card that reminded me of a dear friend, so I bought that and know she will love it.”

“My yard was covered in Autumn weeds. I wasn't optimistic because I have used weed killer granules on my yard pretty often, with only moderate results. I took some weed samples to Calloway's on North Tarrant Blvd. They showed me some weed killer spray that they said would work (picture enclosed). I bought two bottles because I wanted to cover the yard adequately...The spray worked great, and didn't hurt the St.Augustine or Bermuda grass. The best lawn advice I have ever received.”

“This location is the only one I will go to. There are many reasons but the Manager Wendy there is great! If she does not have it in her store, she is willing to call others for you. I am in there every week. This is my go-to for home and work. She is always helping her employees, and customers. She greets everyone and I do not think the woman ever stops. She knows where everything is in the store from front to back. She has so much knowledge of the products and that is what I like the most. “This is my favorite location but man their customer service / curbside pick up is off. You're supposed to say you're on your way and then check in when you're there. Every time I've done on my way they call before I get there asking if I'm coming or they mark it as picked up when I'm not even there. This week I was on my way and got the thank you for picking up your order confirmation, which means I can't check in when I arrive. Then I called and was in an automated message purgatory for 7 minutes, then finally got someone who answered, said oh okay and then hung up on me. I called again and finally got customer service and said I'm outside waiting. They said oh the app had checked you in so we marked it as completed when you didn't show up. This has happened multiple times but if I didn't pick it up then why are you marking completed? I do pick up so I don't have to lug my toddler in and out of the car seat and carry boxes of plants or whatnot, but waiting over 15 to get through and get help when the app auto checks you in even though you don't click 'im here' is beyond frustrating.”
