“Yes, I've been to Allsup's many times in my 46 years. Parents and I used to vacation all over Texas and New Mexico. BUT, my Texan card was missing something. That would be an Allsup's burrito. Yes, deep fried goodness. On a recent trip up and down the 281 corridor I stopped at the closest burrito outlet for a quick bite. Having a large breakfast, this was more of a snack stop. I prolly could have handled a few bites of each but settled on a cheese and green chili instead of the more famous beef and bean. Grabbed a Dr. Pepper just in case of heartburn. Crispy fried tortilla exterior; inside a molten concoction of green chili and government cheese. Good bites! Friendly counter staff too. Didn't try the packet of taco sauce so I have some additional research on the next trip.”

“Always our leg stretching stop on the way to Stephenville. Friendly folks, good snacks & beverages, and decent restroom. There's also a Subway inside (the bread smells yummy) but we didn't stop for a meal this time.”

“LIGHT YEARS better than the 1960s disgusting Allsup's down the street, BUT not as great as it could be with a little attention to cleaning and maintenance details. Bathrooms needed some light cleaning, and the paper towel dispenser was broken in the women's toilet. A nice mix of neighborhood items and through-traveler pit-stop stuff, I'll stop here again for a head call and soda next time I'm in Hamilton. 4 stars could be an easy 5 with some cleaning and maintenance”
“We stopped in for a bit on our way home from Christmas. We were hungry but also wanted a chance to stretch our legs and let our toddler move. This was the perfect place!! It has a super fun shop up front and a cute deli in the back. All the bread is cooked in house and it was delicious!! Their back patio was absolutely perfect for a lunch break! They even had a bucket of balls that you can play with. There was a cute little creek running through the back area my boys loved exploring. We finished up with some delicious fudge and dark chocolate truffles. So glad we stopped in!!”
