“I just wanted to give these guys their deserved props! I have been hunting all my life out of Louisiana and decided to hunt something besides Whitetail! I killed an Axis and an Orxy in January 2025! Now I know these two animals are by far better meat but man this meat is good! They helped me figure out what I wanted and gave me stuff to try! This is by far in all my years the best meat house I’ve ever used. They have me asking what the heck my meat house in Louisiana is doing. I got so much meat back and to be honest I will not use anyone else. The meat is that good!! Thank y’all so much for the help getting it home and working with me. Wow what a meat processor! “The seasoning that they put on their preseasoned fajita steaks is addictive son. They run out of skirt often but always have sirloin. Perfect thickness and so tender. I get it weekly, sometimes I just eat it on its own.
Other beef there is great too and a big selection of ribs, charcoal, and all different woods for smoking. My kinda place.”

“The thing that really makes this place awesome is the butcher shop. They have this guy that works there since maybe January this year? His name is Michael-I had to ask-they didn't give him a name tag, but you can't miss him, big tall dude. He was super courteous, please, thank you-called my husband sir, called me ma'am. Nobody has manners like this anymore and I like that. He knew the products, too. He recommended this cheese called Longhorn cheese and told me how he makes a special sandwich with it. It was something I would never normally buy, but he gave me a tiny sample, and now I love the stuff and so does my family. This Michael J guy is awesome. The store could use a remodel, though-ugliest floors I ever saw, lol.”

“If you want fresh meat and all the ingredients for almost any dinner with an authentic flair- this is a one stop shop. Beef pork and chicken, fajita load outs ready to cook, chorizo and marinated chicken. I've lived near this place off and on since 1986, and I'm embarrassed that I haven't shopped there much until recently. Go in, buy steaks and seasonings and "real" Mexican Coke (cola) and all the produce for an awesome cookout, and you're done. Great prices, friendly people and hot chicharrones ready to eat. They even have your smoking wood and grill gas.”

“Not sure what bent the previous reviewer out of shape but I do agree with him about one thing…. I wouldn’t feed the parisa to my dog either… because I’m eating it all myself! I think it’s outstanding! I haven’t had a bad experience here. I’m a jerky fanatic and I put theirs right at the top of my list. Tender, thick strips in peppered or spicy, sometimes made with extra delicious wagu. Service has always been courteous and accommodating, and Felix is generous with samples. I highly recommend!”
“I love all the michoacanas, please do something to improve your customer service at the meat counter in this particular location the employees should learn to acknowledge the client kindly. Bad moods are maybe because leaders should pay them right or at least a pep talk.”

“This is def one of the best places to get fresh meat and other delicious items. You can tell the difference of the quality of meat compared to HEB, which is tasteless, chewy and gross. Prices here are reasonable as well, and its worth it. Highly recommend!”
