“Fisrt time here and i was pleasantly surprised. We had a litter of kittens so we decided to make them a shelter although they have plenty of places to sleep we wanted to make them something warm. So we mad the a cat box with straw.
Bought bags of straw for thisgreat feed store will be coming here again”

“If you have a sick cat there is no better place to take your baby than to Dr. Leland. As we millennials say, I would die 4 her lol. My cat has had the worst luck with vets that were either not as experienced with cats as Dr. Leland is or didn’t seem to care to actually investigate my cats issues truly unless she was gasping for air or at death’s door. Tiger is barely 6 pounds and has had chronic lung issues for years. 3 vets and 3 years of searching for someone who truly cared enough to actually try and save my cat and not let her condition continue to worsen with no hope. She is extremely thorough, constantly adding to her repertoire of knowledge on feline diseases, caring, thoughtful, and amazing at what she does. I really cannot write enough about her. She called me after reading a new book specifically about my cats symptoms from a local feline expert and we now have about 5 new things to try that not a single other vet ever once mentioned. And things I can do in her day to day environment as well to try to aid those more medically based things we’ll be attempting. She’s a very special vet and if you’re a smart cat owner you will take your baby to her.”

“We visited Puppy Land on Bandera Road in San Antonio and had such a wonderful experience. All the puppies were absolutely adorable, and even though we told the staff we couldn’t afford a puppy right now (they’re around $2k), the employees at the front were incredibly kind and understanding.
They explained their financing options without any pressure and encouraged us to spend time with the puppies and cuddle with them anyway. It really felt like they cared more about creating a positive experience than making a sale.
We left with big smiles and warm hearts. When we’re ready in the future, we’d definitely love to come back and adopt from them. Highly recommend!”

“Came in for a self wash with a sweet hound I rescued last night. The wash included a little basket with shampoo and conditioner, brushes and towels. The employees were SOOO incredibly kind and helpful and offered valuable advice. This is definitely the place to go for any dog parent or rescue.”

going on that became concerning enough to seek
advice from a vet. In between
disability checks we were
concerned about how we
would pay for a vet even an
office visit/exam alone was impossible @ this time. I googled low cost/discount vet services & the first to pop up was Petco pet store & supplies. Knowing they are a household, well known name I passed it up the first time. Really didn't even know they had animal hospital services in the same bldg, much less an on site Vet. There wasn't any good offers/discounts or specials on rest of page so I scrolled back to top of page & clicked on Petco. I found the location closest to me which was the Ingram & 410 location. I inquired about the special free first exam. It was very fast and hassle-free. I put my email and some profile information name address etc a little bit about my dog & history and the problem. Right away they emailed me my coupon for a free first exam & made my appt for the very next day. I have to tell you that
Dr Busterd and her assistant were so awesome. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a very friendly reception of our pet & us. Within 2 mins. we were put in an exam room & the assistant came in & asked questions, very friendly, professional & made me feel like I'd known all of them for years. When Dr Busterd came in she literally introduced herself and sat with her legs folded under her on her knees from the floor looking up to us & talking to us the whole time. So down to earth. I've literally never had a Dr anywhere of any kind take that approach, treating us as equals & part of our dog's treatment plan. Not talking down to us about what we did or didn't know. She & her staff were compassionate & listened to all we had to say & told us everything that there was to tell. Answering all questions & laying everything on the table without saying 'you can't afford this or this is going to be so much more money'- nothing like that. She laid the facts out & explain to everything that she said he needed. Then gave us a printout of everything she felt was needed for our pet. Very honest about tests & exams possibly needed to determine what exactly was going on with our dog & what was best for HIM. She's very transparent. Nothing to hide but gives you every option available to her. You can tell her love and compassion for animals by the way she treats them and their owners. I really loved this place I would recommend it to anyone and I will be going back. She didn't just blow us off when she found out we didn't have money for anything. Our pet still went home with some antibiotics just to start the journey. And give us a little time to figure out what it is we choose. No pressure. My husband and I absolutely love love love this place.”
“Came into petland with no intention of buying a puppy, just wanted to pet some puppies on my birthday. Played with a couple and then fell in love with a mini goldendoodle and ended up leaving with her. She’s absolutely perfect, she’s gotten checked by 2 vets and both said she’s perfect and no signs of any breeding issues (which is important to me because we bought an english bulldog with a heart problem from a similar store (not petland) over all the experience was smooth and would HIGLY recommend them to anyone looking for a specific breed of puppy”

“Took my Shepard husky mix for grooming with Benjamin and had a great experience. He went at my dogs speed and gave me a detailed summary of the appointment as well as recommendations to help with the shedding (since my dog has a ton of hair). Would highly recommend booking grooming services with Benjamin!”
