111 Pecan St, HicoHad previously heard of this place and finally went with some friends this past weekend. A very engaged staff and the food was tremendous. I'd recommend the biscuits and the lamb meatball for appetizers. If you have another room left over, then the shrimp and grits were A+. Our group of 6... everyone liked what they ordered. Worth a trip to this gem near Ft Worth.

But what really makes this place stand out is their mission—everything is donation-based, and the owners are committed to giving back to the community.
If you visit, please go above and beyond when you pay if you’re able. Your generosity helps them continue doing what they do and pouring back into the Hico community. Great food, great coffee, and an even better purpose.
