T.J. Maxx & HomeGoods is a large combo store offering an ever-changing selection of high-quality, brand name and designer fashions and home decor at significantly reduced prices, functioning as a treasure hunt for finds. The store has a good selection of goods and you can often discover amazing deals. However, the store can be unorganized and chaotic, with aisles that are a little tight. The shelves and clothing sections are often overstocked and jammed with inventory, making it hard to shop through the mess. A major and frequent downside is the checkout process. There are not enough cashiers, and the line is always extremely long no matter when you go, with a typical wait of at least 15-30 minutes. This leads customers to weigh if their purchases are worth the long wait. On the positive side, customer service can be great, with staff described as awesome and helpful in retrieving items and assisting customers. Despite the crowds and organizational challenges, if you enjoy the search and don't mind a bit of a crowd, this store is worth checking out for its high-quality items at amazing value.
It doesn't matter what day or what time of day you go their checkout lines are always 30 to 45 minutes. And when they only have two people doing check out that's totally ridiculous. I don't understand why they don't have a better faster system
