“I came in here looking for a belt with a nice buckle. Nothing fancy or flashy just something I can wear with my jeans and my golf pants. I tried looking for some at star western but the prices were way too high for me.
I was in cowtown for about 2 minutes and a man that works there asked me if I had anything special I was looking for, told him a belt with a buckle and he helped me out. Offered me about 4 options, different colors and sizes and I told him I wasn't really sold on any of the ones he showed me but I kept looking. Then he showed me some more, never looking to upset or push me into buying one of those $70 belts or anything. After another 5-10 minutes we found the one. I still use that belt, has not bent out of shape or ripped. A couple weeks later took my brother here when he said he wanted boots and we both bought a pair. I dont know the employees name and we are not friends but they are very helpful and I'm happy with that. My brother and I went back with my uncle and father in law and we all found great boots that we still use today. Save about 20% from the big box stores so that is a good bonus.
If I ever want anything western wear, boots or belts I come here first & most of the time I find what I need with in 10 minutes. Can't ask for more than that.”
“I knew I was in good hands the moment I saw the ‘Cash Only’ sign. Outstanding work—he saved me from having to buy a brand-new pair of boots. I brought in a basic pair of Ariats with completely worn-down soles and an uneven heel, and now they feel solid and sturdy again. I would say even more so now. Top-notch craftsmanship. 10/10 would recommend for any boot repair.”

“Had to make a second trip to the store because I forgot to grab a backpack for one of my kids. Ended up being helped by the same young man as yesterday—slender guy with tattoos. Super impressed by how he handled a tough situation right before me. There was an elderly woman being pretty rude and impatient (totally not his fault), and he dealt with her with total grace and patience. Didn’t lose his cool once. That’s top-tier customer service right there. Young man deserves some recognition!”

“Took my son in to get shoes and immediately found what we needed. We are from NM, so this place is huge to us and well stocked. I usually have a difficult time finding shoes his size, but we found shoes immediately. The only issue I had was with other customers not watching their kids and using the benches to play video games. The benches are for people to try on shoes. Luckily this location is large and had a few. We didn’t require assistance, so I can’t say anything about the service. The cashier was kind when she rang us up, she told us about the rewards program and helped us sign up. She also checked to make sure both shoes were in the box, which not all places will do. This is the only location I have been to in TX but it’s the best Rack Room location that I have ever visited.”
