Best bead shop in NW Houston. Excellent selection of seed beads, Czech crystals, natural stone and pearls. Everything you need at good prices. They also have classes and groups. You need to visit!

I have finally found my seed bead and findings spot. I went for the first time today and it was definitely worth the trip. They have every Miyuki delica color and and huge variety of Super duos, Toho, Austrian crystal findings and so much more. The customer service is also and the owner and his Mom were so nice! He even had some of his creations on for sale. I usually order my beads online but I definitely will stop by to help support this local small business. Thank you!

After discovering this shop; it has been decided that this is going to be my go to shop for my bead needs. I’m very big about customer service and the nicest thing about this shop is that the Owner is a very genuine, knowledgeable & and helpful person. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience here. From the bead selections to dealing with the staff/owner, everything was just great. The prices are competitive and the quality of the beads here are very great for the price. I loved this shop so much I made myself drive 2 hours the next day (I live out in the country) just to go back and have the same experience. Great Shop. Superb owner. I have nothing negative to say about this shop. Thank you so much for everything 1960 Beads. I look forward to continuing to come to your shop! God bless y’all

I visit the shop 3 to 4 times a month and find the shop full of Toho and Miyuki beads in various sizes. Lots and lots of Firepolish, Duos, Crystals, gem stones, and specialty shaped beads. They also feature new beads in the shop as well as a good selection of beading tools and supplies. The owner and associate are very helpful and knowledgeable of color combinations, stitches and store products. They have created a friendly community for beaders.

The smell hits you when you walk in and it keeps lingering. The gentleman was nice. The prices are steep. Very limited on bigger size beads. Mostly smaller ones are there.
I wouldn’t go back personally.
