Chaz is a great personal trainer and they have plenty of good equipment. BUT I think it’s weird to charge members extra to use towels and the bathrooms are always dirty.

Always super packed no matter the time of day. They close early on weekends-like 7pm early and then they ask you to get off all the machines ten minutes before close. Kinda weird considering they are already closing pretty early. One day I had forgotten my towel to swim- I asked if I could use one just for today but was told I had to buy a “towel service” an additional $10 a month or something-so I did that even though not bringing my towel wasn’t a regular thing so I cancelled it pretty shortly thereafter. but still had to pay for two months since I got it at the end of one month and then cancelled it the next week or so but it was into the next month. Most places will let you use a towel free of charge if you don’t make it a regular habit. So I paid $20 for using a towel once which was lame.Overall, the gym is decently priced just always super full so it’s hard to find open machines sometimes. Pool usually has a lane open, so that’s nice. Cardio and some weight machines have this kind of mechanism so it’s easier on your joints/muscles or something- which I’ve never seen before!

I’ve loved my experience at EOS, I’ve just been frustrated with the class system lately. I signed up for a class, but i wasn’t able to participate because the class was full ( this happened to me and two other members). This hasn’t happened to me until today but it has happened to several people lately. Is there a better system to check to make sure the people in the class are signed up in the app or have the appropriate membership to be in the class? Thank you to Shauna at the front desk for listening to me and trying to help solve the solution. This problem is out of her hands, it would need to come from management to help solve this problem.

Other than being a bit crowded compared to what it was like when it was Texans Fit, the gym itself is fine with plenty of options. But my car got broken-into (smashed window) in the parking lot in the middle of the day on a weekday. There is a golf cart security person that supposedly patrols, but she was no help. Just told me to call HPD and turned back to continue playing on her phone. I presume this "security" is just for show, and the thieves probably know that. There was no update/response or any other follow-up from the gym about investigating further or whether it noticed anything on the camera.

I have been going to this gym for a few months now, mainly to use the pool. Today, all my swimming gear was stolen from my locker, somebody broke the lock. When I brought it up to the manager, he couldn’t care less and did not want to check the cameras, or offer any help or compensation. It was obviously stolen by somebody from the club. I am truly disappointed in this place. Stay away from it if you want to avoid theft, and careless staff.

Was told when I was touring the gym that the gym would soon be 24 hours, but a few months later and it's clear that this was just something said to get me to join, as the hours are still awful (closes at 7 on weekends and 11 on weekdays). When I was about to become a member, I commented that the turf area was a big draw towards me joining. Very shortly after, they removed half the turf area permanently. No mention of this was made to me when I signed up for my membership even though it was clearly planned. Some staff is friendly but many staff members are very rude. They will also make efforts to get you to leave the gym up to an hour before they actually close- examples include staff playing extremely loud music near my workout area at 10:30PM, and a staff member reaching over my treadmill to stop it at 10:59PM. This place was nice when I first started going here, but all the initial perks have quickly fallen apart.

Great gym and brilliant equipment however signed up for a 7 day free trial as I was travelling from UK and staying in Houston for the week. On turning up to the gym, they couldn't find any of my details that I'd signed up (despite having the emails at hand) and told me because I wasn't a resident, I had to pay $20 for a session!? Bit of a cop out really and not the most understanding. So, had a great session but a complete rip off and not clear on who can use the free trial.

This is the worst gym I have ever had a membership with. I got on with the personal training sessions but needed to cancel as I was not able to afford it anymore. I physically went in the office to cancel and they said they would take care of it but even after that still continued to charge me and never had my sessions transferred over to a closer location, which is what I requested. If I could rate them zero stars I would. Do not waste your money or time getting this membership!!

Had to cancel my membership. Disappointed you guys took out the indoor turf for extra squat racks. People used that turf for sled pushes. You should’ve took off the incline turf/steps if you wanted to add squat racks. No one really used that. Now the gym seems extra crowded and theres sill no where to stretch out.

I was turned away from activating the 7 day pass and obtaining a membership because my ID doesn't reflect that I live in the area. I actually just moved here a week ago and I haven't had the time to update my ID address, which I haven't bothered or needed to do in years. I do have bills that reflect my current address but whatever. One of the guys at the front desk asked what gym I currently go to and I said fitness connection, and he actually encouraged me to just go to that one. It's further from me now, which is why I opted to try eos. Either way, why would I try and go to a gym that's 45 minutes from my "address". Yall are dumb, and lost a potential "black/will power" membership.
