I love this store. Selection is great. Always find something. 3 stars bc twice now I’ve been in on my own, and I have been treated differently than the times I’ve been in with my mother. To be noted: I’m 40+. Not a high schooler. My mother definitely looks like she “can spend more money” than I can. NOT categorically true. But even if it was true, I find the difference in service or attitude to be off-putting at best. Worked a lot of retail in my life. You never know who your best customer might be. Watched how another woman was treated and welcomed. Very differently. I likely won’t be back. Or not without my mother. Who, should be noted, never picks up “my tab”.

I recently needed help in finding a car that had been parked on the street nearby A Bientot. I cannot say enough on how helpful the team at A Bientot are. They were very kind and went out of their way to help me. It was the first time I had been to this shop, which has beautiful things, and it will not be the last time I shop here. Thank you.

I usually don’t post reviews but I feel like I should for this business- to save others a trip.
Apparently, nothing has changed- nice stuff and same terrible service. I went to the store to buy a dress that a friend got from there— I browsed for 15 min and made myself walk out empty handed and save $ because I refuse to buy from a business who can’t even acknowledge your existence in their place of business. What a shame!
Please train your associates to have some basic manners and say “HELLO” - ESPECIALLY when they are the associate that stands right by door!
Just be an online store if you don’t care about having clients walking through your doors.

Today, July 10, at 2:30 pm, my mother & I walked into the store & no one greeted us. We proceeded to shop/browse for a few minutes. The two young ladies at the counter, were having a conversation about sport bras, etc. rather than asking us if we needed help. It was disappointing as this is such a fun, cute boutique with so many great things. Do better at training your staff.

One of my favorite shops in Houston but the employees/ladies that work/own it are not nice, welcoming or helpful whatsoever. You walk in and are not greeted. Completely ignored while browsing.

Terrible customer service. Came in looking for a Emily McCarthy dress, and was literally glared at instead of welcomed or asked if I needed anything. After 10 minutes of looking myself while the girls just stared at me from behind the counter, I left. I will never understand people who work retail who are snotty and can't be bothered to help people spend money. I hope the owner is embarrassed.

What a charming, fun little shop! I like to mix high-low, so I shop Elizabeth Antony's and Tootsies, but it's great fun to find a cute accessory and an occasional jacket, shirt, or straw bag at A Bientôt. Fun table decor, too. They have both "knock-offs" and real deal items... you can either ask the staff or just know your stuff. I've been shopping there long enough to know the staff: I find them friendly, very honest, and helpful. Those who take offense at the young ones working there are easily offended... they're young and inexperienced, trying to gain experience there. Jeepers, just smile and ask for what you need! They jump right in. Fun RO spot.

I REALLY wanted this store to be my "go-to" store...but it failed me, once again. I have stopped in occasionally to buy myself something or to even purchase a gift for a friend. EVERYTIME I have been to this store, I never get greeted, not even with a "hello". Last week I stopped in to purchase a gift. A pair of ladies came in before me. I could tell they were "regulars" as they called them by name. They were greeted and the sales people offered to help them. Not me. They spoke to them as they shopped. Not me. One of the ladies was looking for a particular item and couldn't find it...they sought it out for her. Not me. I truly think the customer service at this boutique needs a COMPLETE over hall. So rude, inattentive and lacking in customer service! A Bientot. I tried to give you another chance but you failed miserably.

Very surprised by the negative review. I have frequented a bientot since moving here in 1998. While it does not pretend to be couture, it's a definite stop for all my friends and family who shop Madison Ave. Betty has the best eye in Houston.

Quality store. Half the store is pretty clothing in fine cotton prints for an everyday dressed up casual look, caftans for entertaining around the pool, and sweet baby clothes. The rest of the store is an amazing selection of colorful, large, bold jewelry. There are also shoes, coloeful scarves, hats and handbags. Fun place to shop or browse.
