I have been using . aP Pawn for almost 20
Years. I have pawned jewelry, sold different items from jewelry, crystal and silver and i have bought jewelry The pieces have been from not too expensive but expensive pieces of jewelry. I have never been treated more fairly and or respectfully. They are the only pawn shop that in trust in Houston or Texas for that matter.

Not sure why all the bad reviews, I bought a pretty high end amp cabinet for a decent price and I will definitely go back!

Went to check their firearms selection after having to ask did they sell firearms, I was told “yes, we do sell firearms”. I then asked can I see them because obviously they’re not displayed, one of the gentleman bluntly said “we don’t show our guns to just anyone” and his coworker chuckled at that comment.. So I face the gentleman that chuckled out of shock that I’m being undervalued, when the gentleman realizes I’m aware of the ill treatment he asks “is there any gun in particular I’m trying to buy?” I said I’m not in the market for anything in particular but I was hoping to see what yall had cause I’ll more than likely impulse buy if something catches my interest. Then I told him I own more than a lot of guns so I don’t need any I just wanted to see if you guys had something cool that I can impulse buy or whatever. Then there was a weird awkward silence which at that point I just told those gentleman to have a great day. Maybe I’m just not their target market who knows but being that I’m black it was kinda suspicious.. but whatever, those gentlemen probably had their reasons.

Been going to AP pawn for over 20 years , the place is 100% in everything they do , fair on all there loans and prices , there’s not a time that I’ve gone there where the Entire staff was so helpful and took care of my needs for a loan or purchase , they have the best inventory for purchase and the best rates and loan opportunities for your every need , If you need $ there your spot in Houston thanks for all your help always AP PAWN !!!!!!

Well this was really a disappointment of the fullest extent. 1st off! I called the pawn shop earlier that day to see if they buy ammo. The guy I spoke to told me yes they do! He didn't specify what type of ammo they buy or if it has to be the same type of ammo. He just said yes we buy ammo as long as it's in the box. I said ok cool I'll be in because I have a lot of ammo to calibers I don't have anymore. I make it to a&p pawn shop and they have me waiting outside of the door for a long time. I know they can see me at the door because they have cameras. The rude young white guy in there finally unlocks the door for me. As I'm walking to the counter it's all eyes on me and whispers. Then the rude young guy steps back as I get closer to the counter. I had my backpack and I say ok there's no gun in here you don't have to worry! The other two guys then turned and paid no more attention to me the whole time. Didn't ask if I need help or anything. So I pulled the ammo out I had, which my lady and I spent about 300plus dollars for. The young rude guy say oh ok I thought you had the same type of ammo! Then he says yea this is all over the place. Mind you now I had all of the ammo neatly stacked, in good condition and all in the original boxes. They buy ammo but he tells me he doesn't know what he's going to do with it and he can't sell it. I had all types from 45lc to 380 to 22lr to 410 and 410 critical defense. I also had 5.56 ammo. All of the stuff anyone would want and buy. I could tell they didn't wanna deal with me from how they left me standing outside the door waiting. So he tells me no I don't want to buy it. I said you can give me whatever for it and he said no I can't do anything with it. I said ok let me see if what I'm experiencing here is what I'm thinking. So I said ok do you buy silver coins and he said yes! So I pulled out my lucky silver quarter which I had no intention on selling just to see what he says. He says oh I thought you were talking about an ounce of silver coin. I said but you buy silver correct? Then I Said but just not from me. He had nothing to say. Then I called to complain because I felt discrimination had reared it's ugly head and he said something smart like he does in all of the comments on this yelp page after someone complains. I would never in life recommend this pawn shop not even to my closest enemy if I had any. Go head and put your smart comments that you post everytime someone writes a complaint on you alls terrible terrible terrible terrible customer service.

Honest people. I dropped a gold ring and left their premises but called to enquire if they found it. They searched the premises and found the ring. Getting a price was simple and easy without any fuss. They also carry really beautiful and unique things which often changes everyday so I would highly recommend to shop here.
