AL Quick Stop is a family-run convenience store and Mediterranean restaurant in Houston's Montrose area, open 365 days a year. It is an excellent place to eat and spend a pleasant time, serving fresh, delicious, and great casual food like gyros, falafel, hummus, and burgers. The food is amazing and even better than nearby equivalents. The owner is inventive, filling a needed niche and making special items like Dubai chocolate. The store is super clean and offers excellent customer service, with staff who go above and beyond and provide great vibes. It is also the place to go for early morning meals. Beyond the restaurant, it is a full convenience store with groceries, household items, beer, wine, and tobacco. They also cater wonderfully for events.
Great gyro with amazing flavor. The spot is small with minimal seating, but it seems that a lot of people are picking up to go orders.

I just want to give a big shoutout to Cristina for always being such a huge help at the store! Her energy is incredible, and she consistently goes above and beyond. I look forward to seeing her every time I visit—she truly makes it so much easier to walk in and grab what I need. She's awesome and always brings great vibes!

This is the place to go when you want FRESH, delicious Mediterranean food! The owner is so inventive and has filled a much needed niche for this type of food. Bonus—he makes Dubai chocolate in his shop, which thrilled my Tik Tok teen! It was delicious!!
