Al Madina Supermarket offers a mixed experience, with several notable drawbacks overshadowing its positive aspects. One of the glaring issues lies in the customer service, particularly in the restaurant area. The service from the men in this section has consistently fallen short, earning a poor rating. Customers often find themselves frustrated with the lack of attentiveness and courtesy.Another drawback is the overpriced food, which can put a dent in one's wallet without corresponding quality or portion size to justify the cost. The pricing structure appears disproportionate, leaving patrons questioning the value for money.Parking proves to be a significant headache at Al Madina. The situation is far from ideal, with a constant struggle to find suitable parking spaces. Moreover, the parking lot frequently becomes a hotspot for disputes, creating an uncomfortable and unsafe atmosphere for shoppers. However, amidst these drawbacks, there are some positives. The overall prices of goods within the supermarket are deemed acceptable by customers. While the pricing of the restaurant's offerings may be a concern, the supermarket itself provides a reasonably priced selection, offering a balance for those seeking affordable groceries. In conclusion, Al Madina Supermarket leaves much to be desired, particularly in the realms of customer service, parking, and restaurant affordability. While the supermarket offers competitive prices on its goods, these positives are overshadowed by the negatives. Potential patrons should weigh these aspects carefully before choosing Al Madina as their shopping destination.

The selection is incredible. I was very happy with how amazing and clean the meat selection is here. Everything is very organized. The fresh bread is delicious. There is a good assortment of fresh desserts and prepared hot foods. The dairy section is quite large as well as the produce department for the size of the store.I was very happy to find halal jello among other tasty dessert mixes.I also appreciate their large selection of kitchenware. They have a lot of ceramic goods, tea and coffee appliances, kitchen tools, etc.The only section thats a bit underwhelming is the personal care selection, but that is to be expected as this is clearly a food market and priority for those products is as such

Visiting from out of town.A friend cooked a meal for me and my mom and recommended this place when I fell in love with what he served us.Am a huge fan of their $3 ish giant homemade tortillas! (Fiter meshaltet parattah) (came in 3 pack fresh and hot off the oven!)which reminds me of my late grandma's homemade tortillas (except much larger lol!)Literally had no allergic reactions to it, and this place was packed with all kinds of foods from the Middle East and fresh meats market and fresh foods demo at the door to by a very kind older lady and phenomenal staff that made us feel right like family :)Also they had a security guard easily help us park and get out of parking.(Guess because there are homeless people panhandling all around the building parking lot which I pray their situation improves to get the help they need and off the streets as someone who was once homeless myself)Also had clean well maintained restrooms for both men and womenAlso had an aisle dedicated to unique coffee and tea (instant and or ground or boxed) from all over the world if that's your thing. All in all with the checkout process being quick and easy with friendly staff to check you out and no extra charge plastic bags.Highly recommend this place whether for a fresh lunch, fresh halal meats, fresh breads, pastries, and more!

A really nice store with loads of food stuff from middle east, India and Pakistan. Though sometimes I don’t find some specific stuff for which I have to go to other nearby stores (that is normal in US ?) it is good store especially for Halal meat and chicken. Quality is not much different than the other stores nearby.

The store has a lot of variety and you can find things that are unavailable in other stores, however the chicken we bought wasn’t good. When we cooked it, it had a bad odor and was very tough which tells me it’s not fresh and probably older chicken. The spinach pies were tasty though.

It is my favorite arabic supermarket in Houston, it is always clean and organized, cashiers are quick and they quickly help you. I love their meat, iraqi spices, iraqi pasturma, yoghurt, dates, pickles and even hookah supplies are so better price than smoke shops around. Highly recommended..

Well, I was hungry after a long day in court and decided to go to Hillcroft Road because I saw that there are a lot of Indian restaurants in that area, and so that's what I was looking for. I read the yelp reviews of many and they weren't so convincing, so I started driving along and as I drove along I saw this large supermarket with signs in Arabic on the outside. As I love Lebanese and Arabic food in general, I decided to go inside. When I went inside, there is a virtual smorgasbord of anything Arabic and Turkish food products you can think of. Spices, fresh breads, sweets, teas, hookahs, lamb, olive oil, etc. Even mugs as you can see. When I went to the back area, I saw that they had a hot foods section where I saw Baklava and other sweets as well as this very fragrant rice. A very packed large container is $6 and a small but quite filling one of kibbe and potatoes in tahini also $6. Will definitely be back for something else soon!Ps: I was charged an extra item which I definitely didn't get which was dill leavesfor $1.49. So watch out at the register

Great place to get groceries. Mind-blowing variety of quality products.Prices differ, you can find affordable thing and really expensive ones. Staff is outgoing and ready to help.Great halal meat and they can cut it as you wish. Hot eastern bread. Dozens of zaatar mixes, and dozens of different spices. And I was able to find a round rice here ))A special room for prayer is also present, what makes this place just adorable
