If there is no other agency, it is fine to use this one but let me tell you that the customer service staff is terrible. The manager is a person who in the end does what she wants and explains to you in nice words that she cannot help you and does not try to find a way to help you as a client.

I would put my money under my mattress before I would deal with Amegy. I used the Amegy Branch on Wirt and the Branch Manager Ms Ford has to be the worst and ruddiest banking person I have met. I have 4 business accounts and a personnel account and I am closing them all. She talks to her clients like they are her employees and the worst client service attitude I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with so if your considering Amegy I would highly suggest you consider another bank.

Lacks customer service. They look for ways to charge you fees. They don't communicate with you so you can avoid them.

This place is severely understaffed and extremely slow and the few staff that are there say they will not hire anyone else. Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes in the Drive-Thru or in the Lobby to be seen even if you're next in line.

Ok, so I close accounts back in Sept of 2021. There happened to be one auto draft that was missed in converting to be bank. They kept accepting the auto draft yet the account was closed. I then get notified they were sending to collections. How can a bank accept debits of an account AFTER they have been closed? Only this POS bank does

Well now they have a new way to rip you off if you try to pay your credit card online it won't let the money go through until the 10th of the month so it will screw your credit rating ...but for $17.50 they will let you make a payment . I say Amegy Ripps you off and stealing from coustomers isn't good business Amegy!

This bank is horrible not to mention atm machines are always temporarily unavailable could not make a deposit or withdrawal several times at their machines and I even drove to other location this happens very often?

No way of giving zero or I would have.This bank is junk. Could give two fucks about the customer. Thought they would be better than other banks. But I guess unless you have a lot of money or are a business owner they don't care about you. Terrible place to do banking at.

Went to Stuebner-Airline location today to make a $4000 deposit. Since they still make you wear a damned mask, I went to the drive thru to make that deposit. WAITED IN LINE 20 MINUTES! That is NOT "Service"!

We have been customers at Amegy for over twenty years. As such, we are used to the ups and downs of any long-term financial entity that oversights your money. However, I have NEVER had such appalling customer service as I have had with Amegy in the past two weeks. My debit card was compromised two weeks ago. As the protocol required, we reported the compromised card and requested a replacement card. On March 21, 2021, we spoke to a gentleman who took our compromised debit card claim. He then told us we could expect the replacement card sometime at the beginning of March 29th. That seemed a reasonable amount of time as that's five or six business days. Remember most people's debit card is pre-set for various automatic monthly deductions for bills, payments, etc. My card is no exception. Monday the 29th came and went, and no card. Tuesday the 30th came and went, and no card. So my husband and I called, and this time we got a lady. She told us it wouldn't take more than a day or two as it had already been 7-8 business days. Wednesday came and went, and no card. Thursday came and went, and since the mail already came, I found out there was still no card. I called customer service for the third time and spoke to two different customer service reps. One stated she was a manager and her name was Taylor. After she read my file, she told me it would be MY fault as I told the customer service rep I spoke to before your 'manager' Taylor just to cancel the card and overnight and send another one to me. Your manager, 'Taylor' implied if I hadn't done that, I could be looking at my replacement card today. Alas, since I canceled, it would be another week (or more) as the 'printing' of the card takes 2-5 days. Then the Fed Ex would be 2-4 days. So this is what I found out about Amegy Bank's treatment of twenty-year customers: 1) EVERY OTHER BANK IN THE UNITED STATES HAS A SHORTER TIME FRAME THEN AMEGY BANK FOR COMPROMISED OR LOST DEBIT CARDS. 2) AMEGY BANK DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR 20-YEAR FAITHFUL CUSTOMERS 3) YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS LIE. 4) YOUR MANAGER, 'TAYLOR' IS INEPT AT BEST. 5) NO RESOLUTION, APOLOGY, OR REPLACEMENT CARD IS BEING ISSUED IN AN ACCEPTABLE TIME FRAME. 6) MY HUSBAND AND I WILL BE IN ON MONDAY TO WITHDRAW ALL OF OUR MONEY TO GO TO WELLS FARGO. 7) YOUR BANK IS A PITIFUL EXCUSE FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE DRIVEN BANK AND I WILL ENSURE THAT EVERYONE ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND ANY OTHER WEBSITE I CAN FIND IS AWARE OF HOW YOU TREATED A CUSTOMER OF TWENTY-PLUS YEARS.

Terrible bank. Processes and technology works like it's 1999. Their app works like it's built for a flip phone. They are very nice and very incompetent. Their processes are inane and they just repeat them over and over and over again when you try to ask for something logical. Even after closing the account I am haunted by these morons. They reopened a closed account because I somehow had an account linked to it that sent a deposit for ~$3. I didn't authorize this. So then more than a month later some company sent through an unauthorized draft and now Amegy says we are overdrawn. I closed the account!?

If I could give this bank negative stars, I would. I applied for a business credit card with a sign up bonus. First of all, the application process is like being approved for a mortgage. They make you fill out a whole several sheet spreadsheet and take weeks to give you an answer. In addition, they make you come into the branch to set up online banking. After I was finally approved for the business credit card, they automatically set up a second account called a "control" account. This is a completely unnecessary fiction if you are the only cardholder. Their customer service reps don't even know what's going on when you call for explanations of their accounting. And to top it off they don't keep their word on sign up bonuses and 0% interest period. I will close my account as quickly as humanly possible and never deal with this joke bank again.
