December 2023.. my experience has not been bad, they cashed my checks in a very short space of time, I still do not have a bank account with that branch, but I plan to do so very soon..... but today, January 31, 2024 I give one New opinion, I already opened an account, but I suggest that you not question so much where I send my money, to whom and why, especially with low amounts, they blocked my sending via Zelle when I needed it most.

In all due respect it genuinely takes a horrible experience for me to write a review. Each time I visited this branch has been beyond disappointing. The environment is not welcoming, very stale and not helpful in any manner. Please advise the customer service agents, tellers and bankers to be welcoming to clients; not treat them as if they are not apart of their business. This branch discriminates and judges their clients prior to any business transactions. I would NOT recommend this bank let alone this branch.

One of the worst banks in Houston. When you deposit a check, even when drawn off of an Amegy Bank they throw a 24 hour hold on it. They refuse to cash employer checks and to top it off has lost a $10K deposit of my employer.

Once again Amegy Bank never fell at being racially discriminated against me withdrawing my money out their bank. Teller was overboard to make my experience very bad. Asking how and where I get my money and when did I deposit it. I fell totally violated. THIS HAS TO STOP BANKING WHILE BLACK AKA AFRICAN AMERICAN!

I am not an account holder, but my recent visit to this location had amazing customer service. When visiting, a girl at the front desk (with glasses who worked as a teller) was very attentive and helpful. The service was amazing, and I will definitely consider opening an account here in the near future! Everything about my visit exceeded my expectations. 10/10!

Been with them since Summer, 2015. No outlandish fees, in fact have had several withdrawals covered by them when funds were not posted and I don't have overdraft protection. The last 6 months have been kinda weird tho because they don't use deposit slips...makes it kinda awkward when you just tell them how much cash u want when u deposit a check, but whatever...was told they're cutting back on paper costs....bad omen?...we'll see. Anyway I do most of my banking online these days, so...all in all I say kudos to Amegy! Small banks have it tough in the big city.

Absolutely horrible. Wells Fargo and Amegy have the worst customer service of any of the banks in Houston. Go to Bank of America or Regions Bank if you don't want to be constantly deal with issues. Why can't people just do their jobs...??? The managers are as inconsiderate and impolite as the service tellers. Covid has only exacerbated Amegy's lack of focus on the customer. Truly sad for a bank that claims to be Houston proud...
