4.3? come on- American Knights Moving is hands down the worst experience I have had with moving companies to date: let me summarize. -
When you hire a moving company, you trust them to handle your belongings professionally. What many don’t realize is that some companies outsource the job — not just to another mover, but through a broker who hires whoever’s available. You may end up paying thousands only to have strangers, far removed from the company you hired, handle your move.
That’s what happened to me. The driver brought a helper he found on Craigslist . A simple 2–3-hour job became a 9-hour ordeal over two days. The driver refused to show me the manifest, pressured me to sign papers early, stacked items haphazardly so I had to rent a second storage unit, and charged me for unused blankets.
I don’t like posting reviews like this. I sent multiple polite emails to the company, hoping they’d respond in good faith — but they never did. My only goal here is to make sure future customers know what they’re getting into and ask exactly who will be responsible for their move before signing.

They are the worst company to hire for moving across the state. They have had my furniture since September 24th and it is now October 2nd. Apparently , it's still in the warehouse in Houston. When you call, they give don't you any answers as to why or any estimate time of when they will deliver you furniture. I was told I'd have my stuff on Friday by the crew that picked up my furniture. Again, here we are and no furniture. I have an elderly father who has been sleeping in my car since hotels are getting pricey, and we were told we'd have are stuff by now. Just beware of this company. Also, they have $5,000 that I already paid them and another $2700 when they finally deliver my stuff.

Took over a month to get to my new location. Tried to deliver on Christmas eve, ended up brining it the 22nd at around midnight. Two pieces of furniture broken completely and the claims did not help to get any money back. Would not recommend.

They arrived with tons of boxes, carefully wrapped every item, and labeled everything so we could unpack easily. It was a 5-star experience for sure.

The big difference in my move was that I was bringing two separate households together. They did an amazing job at handling everything and labeled every box so we could tell them from each other. Their ability to plan and move products is very well developed. Loyal Customer service.

If I could give American Knights Moving 10 stars, I absolutely would!
My husband and I recently relocated from Texas to Colorado and trusted American Knights with our long-distance move. While the process started off rocky due to misinformation from MetroHop (a third-party broker, not affiliated with American Knights), the team at American Knights completely turned our experience around.
From the moment we reached out, every single person we spoke to was kind, communicative, and genuinely helpful. Huge thanks to José, Maria, and Jennifer — they went above and beyond to make things right. Once they learned about the confusion caused by the third-party broker, they immediately upgraded our delivery to priority status and kept us updated every step of the way.
What truly blew us away was their thoughtfulness: they even sent us a $100 gift card for dinner while we waited for our belongings to arrive — such a kind and unexpected gesture.
Our items are scheduled for delivery tomorrow, and we feel confident knowing they’ve been in good hands. This team truly cares about their customers, and it shows in everything they do. We are so grateful to them and highly recommend American Knights Moving to anyone in need of a trustworthy, professional, and compassionate moving company.

The movers wrapped it thoroughly, secured it in the truck upright, and made it the first thing they unloaded at the new place. The rest of the things were delivered safely too. It all worked out well!

My move went awesome. Jennifer was such a pleasure to work with. We had to. Change our.moving dates like 6 times which was very frustrating. Jennifer was right there for us though all the turmoil. Moving time finally came and we couldn't have asked for a.better moving team. I wish I remembered or could find their names. They carefully packed all of our stuff to include an early 1900's kitchen cabinet. It got delivered on time and absolutely nothing was broken. They were very courteous and careful moving things. I would recommend them above any moving company out there.

I had a terrible experience with American Knights. They damaged the floor in my home during the move and never paid for the repairs. On top of that, they charged me more than the original quote with no clear explanation.
To make things worse, they delivered my furniture earlier than the scheduled delivery date, which forced me to buy a last-minute plane ticket just to be there in time. After all this, they completely stopped responding to my emails, leaving the damage unresolved.
This entire process was stressful, costly, and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Updated: I spoke with Evelyn and they were able to locate some of my boxes which were left on the trunk. I still will leave one star off because of the drivers hostile attitude regarding payment even when we spoke and reach an agreement with other staff members of how payment would be taken.
UPDATED AGAIN!??!?!?: seems they would just like a review change, still haven’t received any update on when i’m going to receive my items found in truck which were expensive. And still no update on whether they found any of the other items that weren’t delivered to me. I’m missing shoes, t-shirts, a sitting chair, and now two posters.

This crew was incredible; words fail me when I try to describe them. They made sure my new home was safe by padding the door frames and hallways before they even brought anything in. I am happy to have discovered a company that values your space so much. Well organized!

They arrived on time, helped box up the last few bits, and took special care with our vintage record player and heavy armoire. There were no scuffs or broken items.

They worked diligently and maintained a positive attitude despite the tight schedule. When a door was too small for our couch, Mike devised a creative solution by carefully disassembling it and reassembling it in our new home. We were grateful for their assistance during this challenging time.

MOVERS BEWARE!!! If I could rate negative I would. Used this service to move cross country from Ohio to Florida and will never again. They said they would not pack jewelry or guns and so I thought I was safe to pack those later on my own. However come to find out they did “pack” my items but upon unboxing everything found these were STOLEN. They stole a diamond tennis bracelet, a gold class ring, two gold wedding bands, a Glock handgun (sure hope they don’t plan to commit a crime), a 9/11 commemorative knife, and a Mickey Citizen watch. Additionally they helped themselves to and ate my food without asking and trashed my yard. I am filing a police report but please be warned this is not a reputable company and I would avoid at all costs!!! I’m very disappointed, upset, and just sick to my stomach that someone would do this.
Update to add: they said because they “don’t” pack guns and jewelry our claims were false despite them being the only ones there to pack the boxes and haul to the truck. I guess ghosts really due exist because still to this day our items are missing. Movers beware.

The movers came early, gave me a clear plan for the day, and stuck to it perfectly. They were courteous, careful with my belongings, and even helped clean up packing materials after unloading. It was evident they take pride in their work, and that made me feel like a valued customer!
