They fixed my manual transmission after it needed a rebuild. A couple months later it started making a whining noise when I pushed the clutch in and it would grind going into gears so I took it back and they had to fix it. A week after they replaced the synchro for the second time it started grinding into 4th gear and they aren’t covering it under warranty even though they fixed it less than a week ago.Service: Transmission

When my GTI transmission blew up in West Texas, I had it towed to Armando. I haven't found anyone else I trust to work on a manual transmission, and Armando's rates are very reasonable. We don't think of manual transmissions as "standard" anymore. They're going the way of the dinosaur. If you enjoy selecting your own gear, and want to keep your manual transmissions shifting smoothly for as long as possible, you want Armando's number in your phone.

He put a new flywheel and clutch and changed the transmission fluid in only a day. He had the car done so fast. He was honest and there's a 1 year 12,000 mile warranty. Couldn't be happier!!
