I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I received at one of your third-party retail stores. As a loyal AT&T customer for the past 15 years, I expected a much better experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
On a Saturday in September, I ordered an iPhone 16 Pro Max (1 TB) at the store, and I was thrilled when it arrived just a few days later, on the following Tuesday. This was much faster than the 2 to 3 weeks the AT&T website estimated for online orders. I went to the store to pick up my phone and began the process of transferring my data from my iPhone 12 Pro Max to the new device.
However, halfway through the transfer process, the employee helping me realized they had ordered the wrong model—the iPhone 16 Pro instead of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. As a result, the transfer had to be canceled, and I had to reorder the correct phone. Unfortunately, this meant going through the purchase process again, with a new estimated arrival time of 2 to 3 weeks.
To compensate for the inconvenience, the employee informed me that the manager would cover the cost of a new iPhone case and screen protector when my new phone arrived. I appreciated this gesture at the time and left the store.
Later that day, I noticed that my cellular service was no longer working. I returned to the store the next day, but after an hour of troubleshooting, the staff informed me they couldn't resolve the issue. They directed me to a corporate AT&T store, and only then did I realize that the store I initially visited was a third-party retailer. The corporate store, in stark contrast, was knowledgeable, professional, and able to quickly resolve the cellular service issue caused by the third-party retailer.
Three weeks later, when my iPhone 16 Pro Max finally arrived, I returned to the third-party store to pick it up. I reminded the staff of the promise regarding the iPhone case and screen protector. However, they refused to honor this commitment, stating that the employee who had helped me no longer worked there. Even after they contacted her, she denied ever making that offer.
I left the store feeling disrespected and lied to. As a long-time customer, this entire experience has been extremely disappointing. The stark difference in professionalism and competence between the corporate AT&T store and the third-party retailer is shocking. I will never return to a third-party retailer and would strongly advise others to avoid them as well.
I hope AT&T takes this matter seriously and ensures that your third-party retailers are held to the same standard of service as your corporate stores. This is not the kind of experience I expect from a company I’ve trusted for over 15 years.

Was told my device would be delivered within 2-3 days, but my order now shows that it won’t even be shipped until almost a month later, for a phone that’s been released since July 2024. Just stupid.

I stopped in today because my old phone had just broke down and I needed a new phone immediately. Thankfully Amy was able to help me and also the was able to do it quickly and efficiently. Thank you Amy. You were great.

My mom and I went to Att store yesterday at 11200 Fuqua StSte 200 in Houston.Adam really polite , kind and helpful. He helped us through the whole process and really patience to answered all my mom's questions. Give him a 5 stars plus !

I visited last night (9/22) after being on hold with customer service for over 2 hours, they told me the store would have the solution to my problem. I arrive at the store and the "assistant manager" told me he is unable to provide any solutions. So advance technical could not help and neither could the "Assistant Manager" I will be leaving AT&T immediately. I've been without a phone for over 15 hours on hold with more than 15 representative and visited this store. If only zero stars was an option.
