I wanted hair color, highlights to brighten up my hair for summer. I sat with Rosie and looked at pictures, I went in with my virgin dark brown hair. I normally wear my hair naturally wavy/curly so I left the salon with wet hair to air dry. I was sure it would look fantastic as Rosie had been in this business for many years. At home, when my hair dried, I was horrified to see my results. I was pretty shocked to see no base color was used and my highlights were different colors and many of them orange/brassy. This literally looked like I bought a hair cap at the drug store and did the highlights myself. The highlights were streaky and not soft/blended.I went to Visible Changes memorial city the very next day as I begged for color correction. The stylist was shocked that I was allowed to leave an establishment looking like this.Listen, I am a very reasonable person - not picky - and never asked to be blonde. I specifically said I wanted to lighten my hair to a soft brown and add highlights. Rosie did provide a refund and I appreciate that, however, there was no accountability on her part. She said she “does not use base color” and that she “tried her best”. I am truly surprised that a person that said she had been in this profession for decades would be proud of this work.Not sure what happened here but if you have dark brown hair and want a hair color/highlights I suggest you go elsewhere.I don’t see an option to attach before and after pictures here on Google.

Atelier's Roswitha Carter is one of the best hairdressers in the world, and I'm serious!I've seen and met many and Roswitha is definitely one of them.I like the way she cuts hair so that it looks and falls great from day one through month 3 through 4! No need for products or a lot of blow-drying. She has a perfect understanding of elegance, aesthetics and what suits you. Detail and design in perfection and a very personable personality!

I feel so bad for leaving a bad review but I need help! I went to Atelier back in March of this year and at first I loved my haircut but I soon realized that my ends were completely flat and split. I washed my hair and conditioned it hoping to get my waves back but nothing. I've read that split ends may happen due to the use of dull scissors and this is the only place I've gone to in years and it turned out to be the worst haircut I've EVER gotten. It's been almost 4 months and my hair is still dead. I have tried all kinds of remedies and hair masks and I'm still sad to see that my hair doesn't look like it's natural wavy self. What do I do to repair my hair without cutting it shorter? Or is that my only hope? Please help!!! I'm so sad... I've been very patient just waiting for it to grow out- I do NOT want to cut my hair short! Will my hair stay dead until I cut it?
