I returned the car earlier and the clerk simply charge my credit card without telling me what he was charging, when I saw the charge I questioned why the charge was almost the same amount as the weekly rental and he told me that the charge was $90 a day, and when I presented him with the daily charge published on the website he told me that he already had charge the card and he couldn't do anything

Avis has lost me as a customer. I used them over the years but now I am not able to due to their soft credit check. Even though I am using a debit card that has the money for the rental and deposit. I also have proof of address to match my ID. Good luck on keeping customers, this company is going downhill.

I usually have a great experience. No problems except when Mike is there, he’s very different. Make your experience 10 times harder than it has to be, customer service definitely needs work. Besides that, it’s usually a pleasant experience.

Customer service is excellent. Michael is professional and I always get a great car for rental. Also sending friends to that location because of staff and clean great cars. Amazing staff and cars!!!

Should not be any stars at all. Should be negative stars. Worst of the worst. Michael could care less about the customer. He is as RUDE as they come. I don't appreciate him making comments about my sister. He thinks he is real cool wearing a hat inside. Hey didn't your mom teach you not to wear a hat inside or you probably just don't care. I have filed a complaint with the corporate office because after renting a car for as long as we did you should show some respect. The happiest time during this rental was when we returned the car and went down the street to Enterprise Car Rental. They respect their customers. I will NEVER rent from Avis or Budget again.

I received my rental from 5050 FM 1960 West, Houston, Texas location. I placed my order over the phone with Andy. He was awesome. This was my 1st time using AVIS. I am a new and permanent customer. And, I will tell all of my family & friends. They issued me a Black, Mazda CX-30. It was great! The vehicle was very clean and ran very well! Mark was amazing. Very attentive and professional! AVIS, you totally ROCK!!! Thanks, Ms. A.Evans??????

I rented a car through Avis with a guy name Frank was super cool in the beginning had no issues. When my rental was about to be up I called to extend the rental for another week. They never extended my car rental but they allowed me to take the car for another week. Whole time I thought it was extended because Frank told me it was. The whole time they didn't realize that the car wasn't there. They only figured it out when I called to ask a question about my rental. He said the rental was returned the previous week that I was mistaking. How do you not realize that one of your vehicles is missing? Imagine if I was a different type of person and decided to not return the car. Obviously I did returned the car but not everybody would of done the same thing. Then frank try to blame me saying it was my fault? How was it my fault when you made a mistake from your end? I will not be renting from this location anymore.

Guy on the phone couldn't even answer my question he said all he know is he put the card in and take the payment . Asked about something I saw on the website he said he don't know nothing about that either . Very disappointed . New to Avis so I was seeking to understand . No help

Hands down best service of any rental car place I’ve been to. Amber went above and beyond to help me when the Jeep I rented from the hobby location started having engine trouble. I was essentially stranded with my family and she found a car for us even when it looked like there was nothing that could be done. There’s something about face to face customer service that seems to be evaporating in our society, but Amber’s work proves that there are still good people in the ranks looking out for the best interest of others. Avis needs to give Amber a raise, bonus and a promotion - she is the quintessential representation of customer service and Avis is very fortunate to have her representing the brand.
