I made a mistake by not reading reviews. Hoping to save others by writing this one.Smell of mold/mildew permeated the room.Woke up to roach crawling over my face.Killed another roach in the bathroom.Card resets every 24hrs even if your stay is longer.Neighborhood has lots of homeless folks nearby. Parking lot is not very well lit.Positives: Day crew was nice. Price is cheap. AC/showers work as intended.

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The front desk kid (Tue night 630pm) and I say kid because the installers said he looked and acted like a child. Wouldn't let our installer, who is in town for work, into his room because they wouldn't run our company card for the room. The installer who is coming from out of town would never have the Production managers company credit card to present at the hotel. That's the entire reason why we set it up online. When I asked to speak to his manager, he said he didn't have one. I told him that's a lie what's his name if he's not there. He then said Jose, I said ok what's Jose last name. He played stupid and said I don't know. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, let alone anyone that has a team traveling for business as that's majority of the hotel stays in America. This child needs to learn what customer service is and the hotel needs to provide an option of paying online if this is true. We booked at Holiday Inn down the street and they were amazing with accommodating the last min change. They said they hear about how bad this hotel is all the time.

This was my worst travel experience by far. If you are planning a trip to Houston, stay clear of this general area and establishment. This place seemed very sketchy to begin with and felt very unsafe. Despite having a supposed "security system", there was a theft incident on my vehicle. We had both catalytic converters stolen. We filed a police report and spoke to officers, and when officers asked front desk staff if they could pull video camera evidence, police officers were told that the hotel was unable to obtain a recording of the incident. Our second issue was our key card would never work and we would continuously have to go to the front desk in order to have our key card reactivated. The rooms are also not very clean, with bad odors, stains on furniture, bathroom, and carpet. Again, if you are in search of a place to stay, be warned not to stay at this location.

I will first start off by saying the staff was very kind and helpful. We sorta had a check in mild issue but it was quickly resolved and we headed to our room. The room right next to ours had the door propped open and was TRASHED. Tore up from the floor up, tv full blast. Just an absolute mess. I'd never seen anything like it. Our room was fine, not too clean. I believe it was a blood stain on the curtains & the tables needed a cleaning. For us, not a huge deal since we were literally just here for a few hours. We left, went to dinner and came back to the restroom flooded and the toilet wouldn't flush. We told the front and they immediately got us into a new room, no issues. We got to the new room and it was pretty gross. Pictures are of our "new" room. It was pretty late & I honestly didn't feel like making it a big deal for something we weren't using (couch & chair). We took off the sheets and slept, no big deal for us honestly. Rooms & hallways need seriously cleaning. Carpet was also damp. Breakfast however was decent and we enjoyed it. I know you get what you pay for but they need to clean this place up some. There was also many people hanging around outside. Room served the purpose of a place to sleep but probably wouldn't stay here again.

Got 2 rooms with me and my kids, gf, and her kids. Gf room was ok, but there were cig burns on comforter.My room smelled like vomit, strongly, bathroom was dirty, tub had gunk all over it, and door was just open when I got to it. Told front desk attendant, he said he had one other room available. He asked if I moved anything in the room I said maybe the bedsheet. He asked me to go turn it back down because he "didn't want to."That one was humid and smelled like rotten milk so badly that my children both gagged. I tried to talk to him about it and he said that was all he could do. I asked him about a refund and he said it was non refundable. Knew before I asked.Went back to gf room to explain situation, said my kids could stay with her and I would stay in rotten milk room. Then I noticed the lock clasp on her door was broken. Went to front desk to explain. He said he couldn't help me. That the key card lock should be sufficient. I said IDK who has keys that open that door, they can be copied. He said that was not likely.2 exterior doors were also broken in a way that they stayed unlocked. Front desk said he knew about this and couldn't do anything. With their being a lack of sanitary conditions, safety, comfort, or care from staff, I had to make the hard decision to find a different hotel. At 3am (1 hour after arrival). Will never use Baymont, Wyndham again. The Hampton Bay Inn I stayed at was nice though.

I hated this hotel so much is was so expensive and dirty and it stinks like a-lot it hade blood stains and dirt ans mold everywhere we didn't go to sleep that night we barley stayed the whole 2 days we was there we went out the who time we only came to the room in the mornings not at night the breakfast was nasty and it had mold and the coffee stayed out all night and people stared at u everywhere u went never going there again its a zero rate its not a one at all its the worst hotel I've ever went to never again

Stayed here for the first time and the experience was not good! Staff are rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional.We checked in with the kids, late at night, and there was this young African American teenager type man at the counter. We went to the room and the card didn't work. Came back to the counter and was told it was my fault because I put the card with other magnetic devices like key fob, credit cards, cell phone, etc. Why was I never told to not put the card with any other magnetic devices? Card was "re-configured" and I went back to the room only to have the same situation where the card didn't work! Yet again walked to the front counter and the young guy thinking I am dumb decided to come himself to check it. Of course, card didn't work for him either!I was then given a card for a different room. I went to that room and even though the card did work this time, room did not have any pull out bed as advertised and as I booked! Yet again I walked to the front desk and was told that another different room will be given. I now went to this third room this time with the guy, again with all my stuff and little kids, and was glad that room card worked and pull out bed was there! Guy himself check out everything in the room and told me I am good to go! At this time I was just glad to find a room to take rest after a long tiresome day.Unfortunately, my happiness soon turned into frustration and anger when I found out that there was no bed sheets for the pull out bed! I again went all the way back to the counter, told the guy that there was no bed sheet and why he didn't check it, and his response was, "Oh, I knew that, I was just finishing up oiling my hand!" I almost had a heart attack when I heard his useless and baseless lie! Since I was so tired I just didn't have any stamina in me to argue with him anymore and just came back to my room shaking my head all the way back! Not a single time this young guy apologize for all the inconvenience and/or own anything for his carelessness attitude. All he did was argue and false justifications.Room was spacious and alright and nothing fancy. Carpet was horribly dirty and smelly from some spots. Breakfast was mediocre and nothing special. I went only one day to check it out and after that started to eat outside for much better taste and choices.Overall, even other staff attitude was simply rude and not helpful. I felt that they were thinking that they were doing a huge kindness to me by working there!I will not stay or recommend this hotel to anyone else based upon my experience.

Reasonable rates and centrally located to everything. We stay no where else while in Houston. Service is top notch and the rooms are clean.

Wife and I stayed the night here, nice place at first glance.. unfortunately found 3 cockroaches staying with us also.. restroom, main living room.. management weren't to concerned when we mentioned it on check out.Not a horrible experience, just need to clean up pest control.
