Recently purchased a 2024 Volvo XC90 from Bayway. Love the vehicle so far. Segum Segbenu was my salesperson and he was excellent. He was very patient with showing me the myriad of technological features offered on this model. He was also very attentive to any questions I had during the purchase process. Would certainly go back to Bayway again.

I just bought an XC60 recharge here. If you're used to dealing with the bigger car companies, this place may seem small; they focus more on quality than volume. Volvo makes great cars, but they don't make a lot of them so you can expect a wait if they don't have the one you want in stock. When I first came here to browse cars, I was impressed that they were comfortable spending seveal hours with us discussing the alternatives and doing a couple of test drives. A custom order was required to get the color we wanted, which entailed a 4 month wait to have it built and shipped here from Sweden. That's a long wait, but we're very pleased with the result. The look, performance, functionality, and convenience features justify the cost of this luxury vehicle. Highly reccommended.I got to work with Segun Segbenu to finalize the sale. Segun impressed me with his detailed knowledge of the car (and Volvo history), and took time to explain and demonstrate many of the convenience and safety features, both at the dealership and on a test drive, plus walked me through the paperwork and helped set-up the Volvo app on my phone. He's a neat guy with a genuine enthusiasm about Volvo cars, and is frankly just a lot of fun to work with -- he's a character.There are a couple of issues worth considering. The trade-in price they offered for my 10-year old Mazda was underwhelming, and I'd suggest first taking your trade-in to somewhere like CarMax to see what they offer before trading-in here. Based upon my prior experience with KBB values and CarMax, I think that they undervalued my trade-in here by at least 30%. Had it not been getting late in the evening to where I just wanted to wrap-up the sale and go home, I'd have taken the car elsewhere. With this in mind, you may want to schedule final delivery of your car here in the morning rather than late afternoon to allow youself more leeway.Also, I was caught off-guard when I went to finalize the sale and was offered a long list of variants of extended warranties to consider adding. It had been my understanding that warranty extensions wouldn't arise with Volvos until near the warranty expiration. I just mention this so that you can be prepared when the time comes.Overall, I'm very happy with the car I bought, and quite enjoyed working with Segun to finalize delivery and show me the details of the car. Finalizing all of the paperwork and payment was a bit on the stressful side for me simply because there was a lot going on over about a 3 hour period between learning about the car, test-driving it, reviewing and negotiating final details, payment (with warranty extension), and setting-up my profile between phone and car, and having to deal with the latter part of this process in the dark. Scheduling pick-up earlier in the day would have been helpful.It's too soon for me to discuss how they handle maintenance here. I figure that should go smoothly until the warranty expires...

I have been trying to find a car for the last 6 months that would fit my budget considering I am 20 years old still trying to establish credit .This was my first experience buying a car on my own with little knowledge and help from my mom from California. Bayway Volvo definitely made my experience a great one! James Jackson and Cardell Miles really went above and beyond for me! I was able to bring home a very well-kept and beautiful 2015 Mazda that fit my budget!They fought very hard even after 4 days of working with me! I am super greateful for this great team!

Mr. Cardell did an excellent job of getting us into our certified pre owned xc90! He was very knowledgeable on the car and answered any questions we had about it. We flew in out of state and he made sure we were in and out in the least amount of time so we could get on the road to home. Highly recommend him if you are needed a vehicle from Bayway Volvo!

Purchased a Volvo 2020 XC40 for my son’s birthday. He absolutely loves it!!!Service Department team did the Volvo Certification on vehicle with all required service being completed. Vehicle is as close to brand new as mechanically possible.We are completely satisfied with all aspects of Dealership and the Volvo Certification Program. ?????

Bayway Volvo convinced us to drive for two hours out of our way because the gentleman I had the first contact with was very truthful and straightforward with us. His name is Morris Tuck. He told me on the phone that he wouldn't tell me to come to Bayway and buy from them. He gave me some information I wanted and if I am ok to come look at Bayway Volvo's inventory he would help us. Needless to say we drove for two hours and bought my wife her 2023 Black Metallic Ultimate Bright edition Volvo. Morris Tuck thank you very much for being truthful and straight forward.The people we encountered at Bayway Volvo were very friendly, personable, helpful, dedicated and professional. When looking for a vehicle, we all hate the "car sales pitches" and "financing games". Bayway Volvo Cars is not one of your usual dealerships. And salesperson Morris Tuck, actually cares about you as a person and appreciates your time. Right from the beginning, he offered support, information, and no ‘hard sales’. Morris acknowledged that we would drive past a couple of other dealerships, but that if we wanted to stop in and see him, he ‘would make sure it was worth our time’. His quick follow-up, detailed attention and casual approach had us wanting to work with him. And driving a little farther was well worth it. The top-notch service and speedy process was amazing. (he even had a few cars ready for us to look at and then test drive) I can honestly say it was one of the easiest car purchases that I have ever done. Thank you to Morris Tuck! Highly recommend you contact him for your next vehicle purchase-it will be worth it!

My overall experience was an okay one. I had a several issues with the purchasing process. First of all, all the stickers were still on the vehicle when it was given to me so I had to remove them myself and it was a large problem. I had to use Goo Gone and a razor blade. I spent over an hour in the Texas sun doing this. Was not pleased. Secondly, when I took possession of the SUV no one offered to sit in the vehicle with me and go over the features. Really disappointed. Lastly, I was asked for a payoff of my trade-in, which I provided. It was accepted by the salesman and the deal was finalized. When I was getting ready to go to finance I was asked for a 28 day payoff which was $86 more than the one I gave them (the one they said was okay). Instead of waiving the $86 they told me I had to pay it or the agreed upon deal would have to be voided. I wanted the SUV so I gave them my credit card and charged it. Confused.PS: Since I purchased the SUV 3 weeks ago, I have called the service department twice and both times I had to leave a message. A service advisor on both occasions failed to return my call. Not a great start to my Bayway Volvo relationship.

I really wanted to give this dealership high marks, especially the sales guys we worked with, Courtney & James, who were top class. Getting through the financing part was a bit of a delay, unclear as to why. Service guys weren’t much help with an oddball request, fixing the torn headliner was well done though. Problem: “You did buy it ‘as is,’ so…” - I appreciate that, Tom, I really do (since it reminded me of my car sales experience 37 years ago where the dealership didn’t care about the customers, or even the reputation of the salesmen as long as cars got sold). The point: I let myself be fooled that these guys would be people cared about their overall image, and they had us bring it in at no charge - huge! But I then did a simple Google search since the passenger door ajar issue happened again, and… lo & behold, it’s not even an uncommon issue! I could see if it was totally out of left field, unexpected; but, MANY cars had been recalled due to this unsafe problem for a car considered one of the safest car makers on the road! As you can see there are suggestions on www Volvo forums - to simply use a silicone lubricant. Now, I know. It is a 2011 used car, so it is what it is, a beautiful car, for our daughter to drive - so, of course it’s a great concern to us. But Tom’s not wrong, a used car sold “as is” means… buyers beware.

I scheduled a test drive with Cardell but he ended up not being available at the time I came. I ended up being helped by the nicest guy Morris Tuck. While we waited on financing to come through he was extremely personable and made me feel right at home. He and the rest of the team there are doing an amazing job. Great experience, would happily go back to buy a car!!
